I was hoping to get some info about packages and, most importantly, to negotiate price without leaving home. Most dealers, e.g., Wayne Mazda, Open Road Mazda, didn't respond quickly and then resorted to old-school sales tactics, such as insisting that I comes to the dealership, meet with their manager, etc. Of course, the whole point of shopping online was NOT to go through that drill. In contrast, Neal Simon of Hamilton got back to me on a Saturday quickly, with full, responsive information and a price quote. After several emails we talked on the phone and the deal was done. He possesses all of the attributes I look for when purchasing a new vehicle. He is very professional. Secondly he is very knowledgeable about the product line and treats the customer in a friendly and respectful manner. He never exhibited any high pressure sales tactics to close the deal. I should also add that, since this was a new car for my wife, Neal devoted more than 90% of the time catering to my wife's every question in an extremely courteous manner. This also encompassed all of the financial details. I have purchased more than 40 vehicles over the years. Interacting with Neal was definitely one of the most positive experiences I can recall. These are a concerned and dedicated group of staff who care about the customer. I got free 63 month financing.I got a great price (my secret), the exact car I wanted, and most of all a happy experience. Please know...I came from Queens,NY. Very far, but more than worth it. There are no games, no psychology; They just want to sell cars. You can trust them. I had a terrible experience in September (when I almost purchased a 2016 Mazda 3) with another Mazda dealer in Northern New Jersey. It was all games and lies; At the end of a 3 hour ordeal, the finance manager was filling out the sales documents. He tacked on another 3900 dollars for finance charge! When I asked for an explanation, he said they had discounted the price and I had a choice: free 63 month financing or 1,000 dollar discount. He said since I took the 1000$ discount, there was no free financing. I walked out, and they offered to give me a 500 discount. I was incensed and went home. Thank God, because I ended up buying at Hamilton Mazda. My name is DAVID ABRAHAM and I stand by what I write here.
