The first time we walked into the dealership we were greeted by Dave. It was his thorough explanation of the products and the services provided at Hamilton Honda that had us coming back for a test driv greeted by Dave. Well I definitely had my homework cut out for me. After many trips to other dealers and multiple test drives of other vehicles, I decided on a Honda. I can clearly say that the main reason was Hamilton Honda's Customer Service! The facility was like no other I have seen, but the people had me coming back for more. Great experience from Dave to Richard and then finally the amazing Jim. Every detail was explained, all the bases were covered and it was top of the line service. I recently bought a 2012 Civic Hybrid. I had been to the dealer repeatedly, considering both used and new cars. They were not overly pushy, and respected my privacy and time required to 'research', unlike dealer repeatedly, considering both used and new cars. They were not overly pushy, and respected my privacy and time required to 'research', unlike other dealers that continually called/emailed. Although there was not much room for negotiating the price (eventually $200 below MSRP), I walked away generally satisfied. I am happy with the car. One point of contention relates to the warranty. On the night of sale, I was persuaded into obtaining an extended warranty. Once I read through the details, I went back in days later and cancelled. The finance manager, without much issue, re-did my contract. I appreciated this. However, what was not made clear during the initial purchase was a distinction with the the emissions systems on the civic hybrid. There was another car on the lot with a different 'smog rating' on the window sticker (it had a 9 out of 10, instead of the 7 that the car I bought had). This was briefly described by the salesperson as relating to 'California emissions'. Upon reading the warranty book after the sale was completed, I discovered that the difference was that the car with the '9' had an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission (AT PZEV), which provides a 15 year/150,000 mile warranty for many components on the car (quite different than 3 yr/36K mile). I've been waiting for a week for an explanation, which hasn't come yet. More

He explained everything in easy terms and made sure he addressed all my needs and concerns. When I needed to buy a car I was dreading the process, but these guys made the experience so pleasant and enjoyable I didn't want to leave. I've already had my experience with the service department with my old 2001 Civic. Hamilton Honda Service has set a new bar for excellence that will be very hard to beat. It's so awesome it's too much to explain into words. All I can say is that they go out of their way to assess and/or maintain your car as thoroughly and quickly as possible, and while you wait the customer waiting area is fantastic. With a spacious waiting area, two HD TV's, WiFi for your laptop and a number of PC's. And not the least a snack bar and a play room for kids. If you're in the market for a car, I recommend them completely. It's worth going out of your way to see them. Thanks! More
