After buying three Honda's from a dealership in PA I went to Hamilton Honda for my most recent vehicle, why you might ask, because the dealership that I was loyal to decided that my previous business didnt matter to them anymore. I purchased a 2011 CRV in May and lost it in the hurricane in August, I went back to the dealership, explained my situation and told them I just wanted exactly what I had purchased and wanted the exact same deal....well they told me NO! So, instead I went to Hamilton Honda after a friend who works in the service department recommended I give them a try. I didnt even have to call them, my friend gave our number to a salesperson and he called us. Ian made the experience painless and straightforward. There was no haggling over price, I told him what I paid for the CRV at the other dealership and he said "ok, we can do that", talk about easy. There was no problem using our own credit union, no pressure to use theirs. No pressure to buy extended warranty or anything else for that matter. My husband was really impressed with the service department, as it has 30 something bays for service. There are a few different areas to wait if you chose to wait for your service to be done, if you want to wait at home they will shuttle you back home and come pick you up when your car is ready. If you wait you can do so in the quiet area, or the main area...hungry while waiting, they have a little cafe area that you can get some grub or beverage. With purchasing this car I will now have free oil change (with filter) and free car washes for life of the car. The only down side would be that I cannot get free inspections like I had at the other dealer and that the "documentation fee" was twice what I paid in PA. Matt in the paperwork department was good too, didnt push anything on us. Overall I had a great experience, that says something because I CANNOT stand car buying. I liked that Ian was down with texting...just makes things easier. Thanks Ian and Matt for making things easy and actually caring about your customers and their loyalty to Honda! More
My husband and I had an amazing experince with Hamilton Honda that will stay with us for good and will keep us going back there to purchase a Honda. We had been looking for a specific Honda in a specific Honda that will stay with us for good and will keep us going back there to purchase a Honda. We had been looking for a specific Honda in a specific color and had been to 6 different dealerships all of which on the phone said they had the car and when we arrived it had been sold. When my husband went online and found Hamilton Honda, which is further from our home than the other dealerships we had been dealing with, he received a call from Lauren Mulia who handles the internet sales. She was extremely pleasant and dealt with his frustration in a professional and empathetic manner. She assured him they had the car on the lot and to come in. Her kindness and the way she spoke to my husband is what got us into the dealership. Now in my head I thought great I have to deal with the salesman now! Chris Mazzeo was the salesman we met with and he was wonderful. He supplied us with answers to all of our questions, showed us the car and earned lifelong customers. When it was time to deal with finance, Jim Confredo was outstanding. He is extremely knowledgable and understanding. It was such a pleasure to deal with him and he is now referred to by my husband and I as "THE FINANCE MAN"! When all the paperwork was done and the car had been prepped beautifully Chris took me through all the gadgets and information lights and everything else related to operating and owning the car. He also assured me that if I had any questions after I left to just call him without hesitation and he would help me. Before leaving Tony Servidio came over to ask how everything was with the car and if I had any other questions and he was caring, attentive and most important sincere. He genuinely wanted to make sure that every step that led up to us driving off the lot with the car had not only met but exceeded our every expectation and it most certainly had. Up until now we have bought 5 new cars most of them from Nissan and Mazda and had been happy with the service. Now after dealing with these four exceptional people at Hamilton Honda I will go nowhere else. We not only found the car that sells itself we found the dealership that sells itself. My husband wanted me to mention that the facility including a car wash and service garage were immaculate even as everyone was working. My husband still thinks we bought a Jaguar based on the beautiful dealership facility and the outstanding way we were treated! In closing the biggest service my husband and I could give anyone shopping for a car is this honest and accurate review of Hamilton Honda....Kudos to Hamilton Honda for being and "island of excellence in a sea of mediocrity"! I live almost 2 hours away from this dealership, but I still ended up bringing my vehicle here for service. My Honda was close to the mileage interval for the timing belt replacement, and they happened to still ended up bringing my vehicle here for service. Believe me, their discounted price for this service is unbeatable by many independent repair shops and virtually any dealership in the tri-state area. Since they use genuine OEM Honda parts and Honda trained techs who do this job all the time, it was a no-brainer for me to take up the offer. I called on a Thursday to make my appointment, and they had availability for the upcoming Monday when I was off of work. I decided to have the timing belt tensioner changed as well, which with part and labor, was still less than the list price of the part by itself. I was also surprised to find that they offered free loaner vehicles, so I reserved one. I dropped off my car and Don Jengo was my service writer. The check in was quick and easy, and I got my free loaner car too without an issue. He initially told me that the service should be done by around 5pm. I left for a while and did a bunch of errands in the area. I called Don around 4:30 to check the progress. The service wasn't complete yet, and he told me that the promised completion time was 7pm. I didn't want the job to be rushed, but I also didn't want to leave the dealer that late. Don checked with the tech, called me back, and told me that the car should be done by 5:30, which was fine by me. I got back to the dealer at 5:30 and returned the loaner with a full tank of gas. My car was just about finished. However, I decided to wait a bit more and let them do their complementary car wash; my car was pretty dirty after all. I have had no issues with the operation of the vehicle since the service. I figure that I probably saved around $300-400 on this service when compared to other Honda dealerships. In addition, the free loaner was the cherry on top. My local Honda dealer doesn't offer them. To be honest, I don't know how Hamilton Honda made any money off my service with all that they were able to offer me: heavily discounted timing belt/water pump & tensioner replacement; free loaner car; multi-point inspection; and car wash. But hey, I felt like I got an enormous value out of the deal, and I was very satisfied in my experience with their service department. If you don't live too far, your car is due for the same service, and you come across this great deal, jump on it! More

By luck, Dan Balling was assigned to us. He is thoroughly knowledgeable of all of the cars and was a pleasure to deal with. When Dan was not available, John Genovese happily helped us and we didn't miss a beat. Finally, we were visited by a number of managers and Dave Weingarten made the sometimes confusing financial piece of the deal quite understandable and tolerable. Hondas are a great car. I was given Mr. Puma's business card from a very good friend of mine who just purchased a car himself. I started the ball rolling sending Mr. Puma an E-Mail. Next Miss Muglia responded to my E-Mail the following day! Wow that was quick which really impressed me! Due to my hectic work schedule I wasn't able to respond back. I followed up with a phone call to Miss Muglia who had EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!! I made an appointment with Miss Muglia to meet with Mr. Puma the following day. The very same day Mr.Puma called me to confirm my appointment and if I needed directions. The following day I met Miss Muglia who was extremely professional, and made me feel very comfortable, and at ease. Also explained Mr. Puma would be conducting a tour of the dealership as well. This is unheard of dealerships don't do this. Once the sale is done that's it! I met with Mr. Puma who was extremely professional, easy to speak with, great personality, car I am interested in, and what color. The color really didn't matter to me. Next we took a test drive in a Honda Civic. Mr. Puma explained all the features of the Civic answered all my questions. After the test drive gave me a tour of the Service Department which is the "Back Bone" of any dealership . Every Mechanic had their own tool boxes which the owners purchased. Explained about the free car washes and oil changes. Showed me the waiting room for the customer's and snack bar. Also explained about a loaner car, shuttle service, and dealership hours. I was so impressed with this dealership! Everyone is so Friendly! I was treated like Royalty! My other car was a Ford Focus 4 door. After test driving the Honda Civic I loved the way it handled the road and all the features in the car itself! What a great car!!!!! Plenty of room in the trunk! I fell in love with this car! I felt very safe in this car compared to the Ford Focus. The price of this car is affordable. This time I decided to go for the Two door Honda Civic instead. I really don't need a four door car. I have two knee replacement in both knees. The driver's seat I can raise it up a little which is a great feature! It is easier for me to get in and out of this car than the Ford Focus was. My over all experience was a positive one! Thank you all for a great experience in purchasing my first Honda Car!!!!! More
