This is my third Honda purchase but first at Hamilton Honda; I’m pleased to say it’s the most pleasant experience thus far. From the start, Jon Wilson was friendly and explained the features of the cars under consideration in detail. Jon provided relevant information for me to make the best decision and familiarized me with the facilities for follow-up visits. It’s what I’d characterize as “excellent customer service.” By the time I left I felt I was part of the Hamilton Honda family. I would certainly recommend Hamilton Honda to anyone considering a Honda purchase. More

I have had two Honda vehicles, one I purchased from Hamilton Honda and one I purchased from Princeton(because Hamilton didn't have the model we were interested in). I have been a regular bringing my ve Hamilton Honda and one I purchased from Princeton(because Hamilton didn't have the model we were interested in). I have been a regular bringing my vehicles in for service/free car wash and adding on other options thru the parts department. The service department is excellent in terms of knowledge and appointment scheduling. The parts department is great because they had most of the items in stock and the ones they didn't have, they received in the next business day. Back to the problem. The problem is the new car sales is very pressure driven. I spoke to different sales people everytime I tried to purchase a vehicle there. They are very highly priced in terms of other Honda dealers around. It felt like they are doing me a favor of me being there, and not the other way around. They keep mentioning how it's free oil changes for life as well as free car washes for life. For one thing, nothing is free, it's built into your price of purchasing the vehicle, that's why everytime you receive a so called free oil change on the invoice that you sign it says bill sales department. Secondly I thought car washes for free for people that purchased a vehicle there. I personally know someone who goes there once a week for a free car wash and they purchased it at another dealer. It makes me feel like, crap I am not special if anyone can get a free car wash as long as you change the license plate brackets to say HamiltonHonda.net. How nice how no one checks anything, that's why the line to the car wash is so long, because half the people purchased at Willis/Princeton or Academy Honda. Eventually they appraised my vehicle and it came in $200 over the galves price and I said, are you kidding me. Now they have records of all of the service/parts that I have received from them, and I received this letter from Jennifer A saying how my used car is in demand but now they say they are giving me $200 over wholesale pricing? If I came in there any other month I would receive the same price for my vehicle which has extremely low mileage and was garage kept. Another xx come on to get you into the dealer. After working with the multiple sales managers it was highway robbery and I said it's not that important to get a Honda when other car companies make a better made, and cheaper vehicle for our purposes. I wanted to go purchase my vehicle locally because of the excellent service department but in this case the price they offered me for my used car as a trade in, and the discount they wanted to give me off the new vehicle was way way OFF. I am so relieved that I no longer have to go in to that dealer again. ** On a side note even the sales managers have to walk back to this higher up person and get approved for the selling price that they want to offer you. You never meet this so called person making the decisions** Even if you ask for him, he's too good to talk personally with you** More
It's been 4 1/2 yrs. since I was in a new car dealer show room. That negative experience was still with me when I walked into Hamilton Honda. I met Romesh who was to be my sales person. He knew the inve show room. That negative experience was still with me when I walked into Hamilton Honda. I met Romesh who was to be my sales person. He knew the inventory and found the Accord I was looking for. The more I dealt with Romesh the more that previous negative experienc dissipated. We negotated a price that was fair, and I even had a couple laughs in the process. Romesh and the Hamitom Honda sales staff certainly exceeded my expectations. Lawrence W. More

I have purchased and leased a car from this dealership in the last six months. My experience has been nothing short of excellent. Unfortunately I went back yesterday to lease a third vehicle with my parents the last six months. My experience has been nothing short of excellent. Unfortunately I went back yesterday to lease a third vehicle with my parents who live with me. We met with Pat Sullivan again, he has been wonderful to deal with and is one of the main reasons why I keep coming back. We went because I received a mailer from the dealership about an exchange program they were offering. The program consisted of either a lease of $139 / month and no money down or purchase with .9% financing of a 2012 Civic LX. The deal also included up to $2500 over the trade in value of your old car. They offered us $500 for the trade, that is what they said it was valued at. I requested that they honor the deal that they offered and give us enough over the trade value to cover their expenses. They raised the trade value up to $750. At this time Pat called over his manager Chris Mazzeo. I have to say, after dealing with this man I am not sure if I will ever return to the dealership to buy or lease another car. He made me feel like he couldn't care less if we made the deal. My past history with the dealership did not matter to him, he just brushed us off and said thats all I am giving on the trade. The entire conversation took about 5 minutes. He said I misunderstood the mailer. That really insulted me,the mailer was very clear. He tried to claim it was one or the other, $139 / month or up to $2500 over trade value. My parents have decided to lease the vehicle inspite of this. I know this dealership has a history of trying to undercut people on their trade value. My parents car was valued at $1175 - $2750 on blackbook which is linked to their website. If you are going to disregard what blackbook says then remove the link from your site, its very misleading. In short, they will be back on Monday to finalize the deal but I have not decided yet if I will return for my next purchase. It's a shame because I really love the dealership and their service department is one of the best. I did not purchase my Odyssey at this dealer but I bring it to them for all my service. If you go to Hamilton Honda please don't expect to get much for your trade, don't believe any of the mailers they send you and stay away from Chris Mazzeo he is the first person in three trips that has made me consider never returning. If you do go please ask for Patrick Sullivan and so far I have had nothing but good experiences with their service department. More
