service department was really good and friendly. I would have given them an excellent rating in all areas except for a few things. 1. I needed an oil change and asked if they could just pick up the car from my job and return it. They said they would rather not. That it's better if you bring the car in yourself. Not a big complaint, just inconvenient. 2. When I purchased my vehicle in December of 2016, one of the great things I was told about the 2017 Equinox is that with the new upgrades and engine quality, I would only have to change the oil every 8,000-10,000 miles. I ended up having to change it after 4,000. Again, not really a big deal, but just tell me the truth when I purchase the car. Don't fabricate a lie just to get a sale. When I called to get the oil change appointment, I questioned why did I need a change so soon, the operator from the service department said "Oh no. Who told you that?" Anyway, the service was great. I rated the cost as excellent because it was my free oil change. My next one, I'm sure I'll have to pay for it even though I was told that I would get 3 free ones. More
