Bob was great to deal with, I told him up front I had some credit issues and he said he could help me anyway. Bob said in my credit situation the bank would have to pick the cars I could choose from. We were looking for a high end full size SUV with a third row seating option to replace our current lease end vehicle. We have actually test drove Borrego earlier at another Kia dealership, however the sales rep there was not comfortable negotiating and as result I ended up calling Halleen Kia and happened to get connected with Bob Herndon. Bob was very helpful and as result within 2 hours we have closed the deal. My wife went home with a brand new Kia Borrego before I even finished all the paperwork. This vehicle is much nicer than many luxury SUVs we have looked at. I’m very impressed with Kia products considering I was very skeptical at first regarding KIA offers since we are usually in the market for luxury SUV. Our new Kia Borrego drives better than Lexus GX470 and has all the gadgets and doodads that usually go in to high end vehicles in min $40K range for at least $15K less. I am very impressed. When we went to Halleen we did not intend to buy that day, but we were so impressed with the financing, plenty of information, with our questions completely answered ,the vehicle (Kia Rondo) and Jay Vicario that we were ready to buy that day. My wife and I have been impressed with the friendly follow-up phone calls and e-mails from Jay and the dealership. Plus, since our purchase we have had to use the service department for waranty work and were extremely impressed with the friendliness, willingness to help, the loaner car, and the quality of the service. Oh, we also have enjoyed a few free carwashes, and we love the vehicle! More

I had not bought a car in 15 years and was not looking forward to the process now. Russ Hersey was the Sales Consultant I met and went with to test drive a new Sportage. The night I was to go back & make the purchase (Jan 15th) it was freezing cold, snowing like crazy & my old car had no lights. Russ came to pick me up at my home and we stayed together until 10:30 pm to do all the paperwork and get the car insurance set up. I did a lot of research before I bought my Sportage and I feel I received an excellent price and top notch treatment by Russ and all the other Halleen staff I worked with. If I needed another car tomorrow I would go back to Russ Hersey and Halleen Kia. More
