Not Treating People Right One day lately I took my 2016 Toyota Tacoma to have the oil changed. When I purchased the truck I was told that I would get four free oil changes with One day lately I took my 2016 Toyota Tacoma to have the oil changed. When I purchased the truck I was told that I would get four free oil changes with no conditions. Let me make it clear that this is not about the oil changes but of the service that I received when my truck was done. The lady that came and got me after it was done was nice and polite and went through what was done on the truck and told me it would cost $66.00. I informed her that I was to get four changes free and was asked if I had anything saying that. I did not! Then I was told to got find out who sold the truck to me and see if he remembers this transaction from over two years ago. I had to spend 10 minutes finding this person and it was Ray Aiden. He did not remember anything about the four free oil changes and told me I had one left with this the reason way. So I said OK and left. The problem is way did a person that has purchase 5 cars/trucks from this various Charles Barker dealerships have to run around the dealership and find the salesman when there were many people standing around doing nothing. What did I expected 1. The person from the service department could have looked up who sold the truck to me, 2 The lady I asked at the front desk could have done the same. Nomally Charles Barker Lexus and Toyota has the best service aroud but on this day I was very displeased and hope this was a one time deal. Thanks for your time. More
They drove my new 4 Runner through a cinder block wall! We brought our 4 Runner to have a tire patched and the service technician drove our Toyota 4 Runner through a cinder block wall inside the garage and We brought our 4 Runner to have a tire patched and the service technician drove our Toyota 4 Runner through a cinder block wall inside the garage and smashed the front end! Our vehicle is less than 2 years old, has 19,000 miles and did not have a scratch or dent in it. It was in excellent condition and we took excellent care of it including hand waxing it at least every 6 months. Charles Barker is only offering to repair the damages. This will not put us in the position were in before they ran our SUV through the wall. The 4 Runner will never be the same and the value will not be what it was before they crashed it. You would think that with the trust our community puts in Charles Barker when we leave him our vehicles including Mercedes, Lexus, and Toyota he would make sure this is not a frequent occurrence and the infrequent times it may happen he would make it right. NOT SO! More

No friendly greeting, and technician said there was a 2 hour wait to have tires looked at. You have to be kidding! I tried to go to 2 gas stations, but there were other customers. Called Checkered Flag and was informed there was no wait. I always receive friendly greetings & great customer service at Checkered Flag. I bought my minivan years ago from C Barker & went there 3 years ago looking to purchase a Hylander. Salesman was NOT helpful and didn't appear to care I was there. I went to C. Flag and purchased my Hylander. I received such excellent sales service from C. Flag, we purchased a second vehicle a month later. I do not recommend CB. More
Very poorly managed service counter. I have taken my truck here about 3 times since moving here and have found this service center to be very poorly run. It begins the moment you drive in I have taken my truck here about 3 times since moving here and have found this service center to be very poorly run. It begins the moment you drive in. No one greets you or acknowledge you presence. This includes the service reps. You dont know if to stay by your vehicle for 5-10 minutes or go to a service rep to check in. And thevreps at the counter just ignore you. Once you checking in the reps are absolutely unfriendly. If you cant greet customers you should not work at a customer counter. I asked for a 60K mile service estimate to which the rep pulled out a binder with it. I asked for a copy so I can take with me and they dont have copies. This is my very last time here. I would not recommend this place at all. More
Worthless Check your wiper blades before state inspection. In fact, take a picture. Priceless customer service in the service department! I brought my new 4Runner to 2 Toyota dealerships to deal with my steering wheel wobbling on the highway because of the tires. The technicians kept telling me they didn't feel anything and gave me back my car. I was very dissatisfied about that. I decided to bring it to one more place, Charles Barker Toyota and as soon as I walked in I was greeted and introduced to Christopher Belcher. I told him what was wrong with my car and he became very worried and told me he would take care of the problem no matter what. I received a phone call later that day saying he had to bring my car to a Mercedes dealership to get a special test done to see if the tires were defective as he thought they were. Turns out they were defective and he was able to put in a special request through Toyota for me to receive premium Michelin tires. Two days later they arrived and had them installed. Chris and his Toyota team went above and beyond for me and my car. I couldn't ask for a more professional and dedicated gentlemen. Thank you Chris for servicing my car and I will always bring my car to you from now on! More

My salesman, John Smith, has always treated me with the most respect. He is always friendly, attentive to my needs and desires and goes out of his way to help me receive the best deal possible. I also have to state that the service department at Charles Barker Toyota is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Lidia Green, my service technician, goes out of her way to make sure I get an appointment to suit my schedule. She always greets me with a warm friendly smile, explains exactly what service will be performed on my car and the service is always timely. It is the friendly and caring attitude by all employees that I come into contact with at Charles Barker Toyota that keeps me as a returning customer. More

We are new to the area and had to have our state inspections done on our cars so we called around to multiple places, Charles Barker included and I asked how it works whether the inspection is something that take a while and if I would need to drop off my car and then if I needed an appt. I was told that I can make an appt and that it take roughly 45 minutes and hour at most. So after calling around this place sounded like the place to go since I could wait for my car, so I called back and made appt for both of our cars (a Toyota and a Jeep). Fast forward 5-ish days and I show up at my appt on time (even a few minutes early), I checked in with a rep who was nice and told me all about where my son and I could hang out while we wait and said it should be about 1 hour- 1 1/2 hrs at most (wait what... what happened to 45-60 minutes). So we went to the lobby to wait. After a little after 1 1/2 hrs I went to ask the clerk about my car, I was told it would be just a few minutes. So we went back to waiting... 30 minutes later (you do the math.... that's 2 HOURS) I went to the same clerk/cashier to ask AGAIN and she looked dumb founded at me that I was back and asked has no one come to get you yet... Mind you I have to check out with her... "Nope". So she called back to check on my car at the service counter and was told they were coming up with the keys. So after 2 hours of waiting for a state inspection (that takes 20 minutes from start to finish in Texas which is apparently normal around here) I have since taken my husbands car else where to have his inspection done. Not as convenient as waiting since I had to drop it off but sure beats waiting around 2 hours for something I was told would take about 45 minutes. I will not be going back to this dealership again. More
