I highly recommend Hall Toyota in Virginia Beach. Chris Belcher, in the service department went above and beyond this weekend. After failing a state inspection I was charged $189 for labor based on the book though they called at 3:45 PM to say it failed and called back at 4:41 saying it was ready. The book said it would take 1 hr labor based on the book though they called at 3:45 PM to say it failed and called back at 4:41 saying it was ready. The book said it would take 1 hr. 25 mins so that is what I was charged. However a YouTube video shows a guy replacing the part in 5 minutes so the “book” is seriously flawed. The part cost $52 at autozone or $149 with Hall. The replacement of a upper engine mount on a 2005 Toyota is super easy, just wish I had checked before agreeing as I would have saved $300 by doing a easy 5 minute job. The video 2005 Toyota Camry torque rod motor mount replacement” shows the whole easy process in 5 min 17 secs. More
I have bought THREE Toyota Prius sedans since 2005 from this dealership, and the reason I keep coming back is DARRICK WILLIAMS. He is the best service advisor EVER, and always gets my car cared for perfect this dealership, and the reason I keep coming back is DARRICK WILLIAMS. He is the best service advisor EVER, and always gets my car cared for perfectly. In fact, when I have an issue, and have called him, he guides me towards service if needed. Two weeks ago, my oldest and favorite Prius was vandalized and the catalytic convertor and other parts stolen. I called Darrick, he advised me not to drive it, but tow it, and he was waiting for it, got it evaluated, got the parts, and kept me updated throughout the process while managing my insurance company. He always instills such confidence, and is the reason I keep coming back. We are very grateful customers. More

I set up a 10 o’clock appointment to get service work done for an airbag recall. A lot of thought and planning goes into setting up a an appointment when you have children and work. My wife drove my truc done for an airbag recall. A lot of thought and planning goes into setting up a an appointment when you have children and work. My wife drove my truck to work. I scheduled it on a day I was off. I scheduled it during a time that was after my daughter went to school but before my son napped. The recall notice said it would take one hour and that rental cars are available. When I got to Charles Barker Toyota and spoke with service advisor Lydia Green, I asked her if it would truly take one hour. Her response was “it won’t be done until two o’clock.” I then asked her if it was true that rental cars were available. I needed to get my car seat out for my son before they took the car away to be worked on. She asked if I had set up the appointment online to which I told her “no I did it via text messaging which was really convenient.“ her response was “you need to set that up ahead of time. I can call over to enterprise but I doubt it“ There was no “I’m sorry.I wish they would’ve told you. I’ll do what I can to get you in a rental.” I told her I would not be able to leave the vehicle and her response was “ok.” She never offered to reschedule. Never apologized for the inconvenience. As I walked away, I went back to her and said “You know, you could’ve offered to reschedule.” Her response again with an annoyed look on her face was “Ok.” This lady had ZERO customer service skills or sympathy as I stand there with my two year old son, juice and goldfish in hand ready to wait two hours tops. Charles Barker Toyota, as conveniently closer that you are, I will make the drive to Priority Toyota where they treat people with respect. Service manager Fred Phillips, I’ve left you a voicemail and await your return call. More
