In a world filled with on-line reservations, emails and text notifications, this personal touch is especially appreciated and really could make the difference between someone having a bad day and someone having a better day. So thanks for that. Second, everything is always explained and I never feel pressured into putting out more money than necessary. Everyone has always spoken to me respectfully and never in a condescending or belittling tone. This earns you major cool points in my book. Third, I bought my vehicle from Hall Nissan Virginia Beach in October 2010 and have been having my vehicle serviced at this location religiously since then. I totally understand the value of regular and preventive maintenance. I can also honestly say that I am always extremely satisfied with the service and work performed on my vehicle and haven't ever had to bring my vehicle back because something wasn't done or wasn't done right. After having a terrible experience at Checkered Flag Hyundai, I was over the whole car buying process. Rich Herring at Hall Nissan in VA Beach made an already long and stressful day much better! Rich was very honest and personable throughout the entire process and worked with his management to keep my purchase within my pre-set budget! Rich went above and beyond to ensure that the process was as stress-free as possible and that the vehicle I purchased was thoroughly cleaned and detailed with a full tank of gas prior to me leaving the dealership. The only thing I would recommend is to come with a game plan for financing and stick to it. One finance rep (Darryl Cross) at this dealership tried to swindle me into financing with Nissan when I had already stated I was preapproved elsewhere and wanted to stick with that plan. Darryl initiated his interaction with us on a very good note and seemed very helpful. Once Darryl realized that I received a better rate elsewhere and was not going to finance through Nissan, his entire attitude towards my mother and I changed and he was borderline rude. I understand the car buying game and that this is Darryl's job, however its is very unprofessional to show your disappointment to a client and let it seep into the professional relationship. Overall, I would definitely recommend Rich Herring and Hall Nissan to anyone looking to buy a car! More
