I took my CC in for an oil change. Prior to the service I had replaced the left front light bulb, but could not replace the metal ring fastener properly. At first she wasn't sure and had to consult someone. She came back with an estimate of $51.00 which I told her seemed excessive. Since I could not replace it I had them do it. I did reach out to the dealership afterward, but the message went to Shelby in Customer Care. She said she would foreword my concerns to the appropriate individuals including Jessika. This was over 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard a word back. I felt this was an excessive charge for work that may have taken under 2 minutes to do. I just wanted justification for the charge. More

Hall Volkswagen Brookfield has taken me through the ringer this year. Thousands in repairs. I take a car in and it's an expensive fix. Pay for the fix. Within a week problems arise. Repeat. They are cr ringer this year. Thousands in repairs. I take a car in and it's an expensive fix. Pay for the fix. Within a week problems arise. Repeat. They are crooks and hacks. This has happened with not 1, but 2 cars within the span of six months. When we ask within a week of getting the car back and problems arise to back the work they did, they tell us "unless you can prove it was something we did, you'll have to pay for any fixes"..... problems should not arise after LESS THAN A WEEK on 2 different cars after telling them to fix anything that needs to be fixed. More
My report to the BBB: I feel like any problem with the engine is directly related to service you preformed. If it is not related to a service you preformed than it was a missed diagnosc from your technic engine is directly related to service you preformed. If it is not related to a service you preformed than it was a missed diagnosc from your technicians. I feel like your team has been consistent in not diagnosing problems. Leading me to spend money on repairs that don’t x the car. That has me coming back mulple mes with massive personal expense. If my 2012 had been properly diagnosed in February I would have saved thousands in repair bills. Those thousands could have been put into the vehicle I purchased. That would have saved thousands on the life of my new loan. So when I brought in my 2018 and your technicians said everything that was wrong. I had it repaired. If I bring my car back to you I’m sure you will miraculously nd several thousands in repairs that you were not aware of a week ago. I feel this is intenonal and deliberate. Volkswagen needs to stand by their work. I can not take you at your word. I need you to stand by your work and x my car correctly. At your expense because I have paid enough this year. More

scheduled service 2 1/2 weeks in advance. I had to inconvenience someone for a ride from the dealership and had to go in late for work. Not haearing from the service department all day I finally call inconvenience someone for a ride from the dealership and had to go in late for work. Not haearing from the service department all day I finally called at 2:30 and was told they had not looked at the car yet. I asked when they may get to the car and was told " that is hard to say, do you want to cancel the service". I asked again when they may get to the car and was told the same thing. So, I said yea, i guess I do want to cancel! I have owned VW's most of my adult life. All the dealership encounters ( not Hall) have been positive and they provided service the day I was scheduled. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone for car purchases and especially service. More
Had to take my car in urgently for an engine issue. Both engine and EPC light was on. No boost and rattling while at stop lights. Info online said to take to shop immediately to prevent major issue. Needed a diagnostic done to see if it was fixable and at what cost. Was told they couldn’t get to it that day but would get in the next day. This went on for 10 days without them touching it. Gave a different excuse daily. Finally went to get it to take elsewhere. Spoke to the VP that was there. Listened but only offered to get it in in one or two more days. Totally unacceptable! How do you run a business? This place used to be pretty good. We bought our cars there and had them serviced there. This is the worst it’s ever been. More
Avoid the service department at all costs. Had to keep going back to fix what they messed up on. They broke the car, but want 3 diagnostic fees to look at it to fix their screw up.
