I originally commented that I had an unpleasant experience. However I will retract that statement and say that Hall Honda of Elizabeth City will back up thier used cars. I was reimbursed for my battery that died shortly after I purchased the vehicle. The General Manager David Rodgers was very concerned that I felt I had "slipped through the cracks." In reality, For whatever reason, going through the internet was not as pleasant as going and talking to David Rodgers in person. So for anyone with any problems, I suggest to go to them first in person. And I feel you will be pleasantly surprised. More

Though it was a bit out of our way and we were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. We were greeted (not pounced on) by a very knowledgeable salesman, AJ, who proceeded to walk around the car we were eying, and informed us of many features and benefits of the vehicle.... instead of immediately talking price! The managers Jamey and Bill, who also assisted us with our investment, went out of their way to answer all of our questions and concerns and were also warm and knowledgeable. All and all, our experience was more like becoming members of the Hall family.. rather than the cold, car buying experience we were anticipating. The before mentioned three men made life long customers of our family, and we will be sure to spread the word! More

I had such a pleasant experience, I have recommended many friends to this dealership. We will stick with them for any further purchases from now on. More
Took my '03 civic in because it was overheating during a vacation in North Carolina. I was told I had a blown head gasket and needed a new engine. I was quoted over $3500 to fix all of this. We towed the vacation in North Carolina. I was told I had a blown head gasket and needed a new engine. I was quoted over $3500 to fix all of this. We towed the car home and took it to a different garage for a second opinion. This garage advised me that the head gasket was fine, not even warped. I only needed a new thermostat and the connection to the radiator fan was not secured. Also suggested a radiator flush but advised me that the engine was fine. After doing this work (which was less than $100), the car has been running perfectly. I am upset that Hall Honda tried to charge me over $3500 for a new engine & head gasket that were not even damaged. I was also pressured into just accepting a trade in of $2500 for my car (which is worth over $5000 now that it is running fine) and to purchase a new car from them. This dealership caused a lot of unnecessary stress on our family vacation. I always expected good service from Honda dealerships (and have received it from other Honda dealers in my hometown). In retrospect, I believe taking the car to a small garage over Hall Honda would have been a better choice for this situation. More
We have actually been dealing with this Honda dealer for several years now. We purchased our last Honda, in 2007 from them when they were named StateLine Honda and located in Moyock, NC. Although we were originally looking at new cars, when David the salesman mentioned to us the 2011 Accord he had for sale, we were intrigued. After looking at this vehicle, we knew that was it. We have been Honda owners since 1989, first purchasing a civic, then a 1994 Accord wagon, a 2000 Accord LX and a 2007 Civic EX with leather. Needless to say, they didn't have to sell us on the brand. Anyway, the entire experience was wonderful. From the original phone call made by my wife to their Internet Coordinator, Alice to the first impression by David. Speaking of David, we were very impressed not only with his customer service skills but with his complete knowledge of the Honda line. We met the Sales Manager, Jaime who was also very pleasant to speak with. David, the General Manager was equally friendly and we came away from the entire experience with a feeling that we had been treated as genuine friends by the entire staff. I don't recall the Finance person's name, but I believe his last name is Hudson. Very nice gentleman who was very thorough and took his time going over every option available to us, although we decided to pay cash. We certainly recommend that others patronize this establishment, for we know that they too, will come away feeling that they have just met some additional family members for the first time. We plan on taking all of our vehicles to them for service from now on. More
I had the opportunity to work with Jamey and Frank. When I began shopping for my next car wasn't sure what I wanted to purchase but I knew it was time for a new one. After getting to know me Jamey and Frank were able to find me the perfect Honda element. This SUV couldn't fit me better. It is perfect for my dog, my beach lifestyle, and tailgating adventures. Jamey made sure he found something affordable, safe, and reliable. I live in Virginia Beach but my care was in Elizabeth City. Instead of having me make the long drive back down to Elizabeth City, Jamey had the car and paperwork sent to me. Frank made sure I knew all of the ins and outs of the vehicle. Frank was great and made me feel comfortable with whole process. I was never pressured or scared. They worked hard to for two days to find me the best financing. Both Frank and Jamey called to follow up with me to make sure I was still happy. I couldn't recommend a better place to purchase a vehicle. Everyone smiles at you and makes you feel welcome. They really do make you feel part of the hall family. More

I had to get a towing service to bring my car up there because the key had a computer chip and couldn't be duplicated any other way. Before I went there, I was able to call Mr. Seymour to tell him what happened. I was pretty much in tears by this point and scared they would be closed by the time I got there and then things would really be scarey! Mr. Seymour was absolutely great; he calmed me right down and assured me everything would okay and that they would be there when we arrived. What a relief that was! When we got there, they were just as nice in person and just as reassuring. They even washed my car for me which was over and above the call of duty! Anyway, I just wanted you all to know that I would recommend these folks to anybody (especially to someone who is having a crisis with their Honda!) If I lived in the area, (I live south of Winston-Salem, NC.) I definitely would buy my next Honda from them. God bless them all! More
The service that I received in the service department was amazing. They did a great job at servicing my car and addressing my concerns over an ongoing issue with a pen stripe that would never stay on. High amazing.
