I bought a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI Quad Cab back in July at Hall Dodge in Virginia Beach, and I have nothing to say but good things about my experience there. First of all, the sales representative my wife and I worked with was Glenn Clark . I was advised by a co-worker who bought the same truck last year to ask for Glenn too, and I am glad I did. The first day I saw a truck I wanted, very nice truck. We exchanged information and told him we would be in contact and think about it. The next day we talked again, and began to talk a deal. Long story short, they dealer did not want to come down on the price that we wanted, which we were pushing hard for, may have been a little unrealistic too. But, not a minute later, we went outside to find something else, and the perfect truck pulled out of the inspection shop. Yes, the part where a dealership checks everything to ensure that the truck is ready to be sold(unlike some dealers in the area, Greenbrier). Anyway, immediately I told Glenn, this is what I want. So, after a couple hours of understanding our offer(inside joke), we got a deal done. He came down on the price a little bit, and then took our offer into consideration, and the deal was done. Granted their was a misunderstanding in our offer with the down payment and trade in, but it got solved, and both parties were happy. The truck has had "NO PROBLEMS" since the date of purchase, and is running and looking great. Which is not always the case, certain dealerships seem to not even inspect the vehilces before they go on the sales lot(check Greenbrier review I wrote). And if you work with Glenn, plan on being called every onece in awhile, he called my wife and I on our birthdays. I felt as though he was not just trying to get a sale and have me buy any truck, but get a sale for what I wanted. Hall Dodge in Virginia Beach is the BEST dealership in the area. They said their competition is Greenbrier Dodge, and that is the only thing I disagree with Hall Dodge, because their is no competition. More
By far the best dealership I have ever worked with!!! I have been looking for a brand new Dodge Charger fully loaded around the hampton roads area for some time, and every dealership I have spoken with hav have been looking for a brand new Dodge Charger fully loaded around the hampton roads area for some time, and every dealership I have spoken with have either been way to much out of my price range or have had a charger but it wasent the one that I would be completely happy with. It wasent until I got in contact with Misty at Hall Dodge (who by the way was very gorgeous!) who was very kind and helpful. She never pressured me to look at cars right away. She wanted in detail exactly what I was looking for and made sure that every car I looked at had exactly all the features that I wanted and not a car that I was going to just settle with. It was also Dave, who I think was one of the managers, that kept looking in his inventory and found the exact car that I wanted color, features, the works, everything I wanted. Misty being very patient with me and understanding because I was very picky on what I wanted showed me the car that Dave found and I was hooked. Loved the car but now I had to deal wih the numbers. To my surprise when I worked with James in finance I was very pleased with his help on my deal. He was very honest and informative with me with everything. He even helped get the payments to less of what I was expecting. Very pleased, very happy with the customer service I recieved at Hall Dodge from the beggining to the end. I really appreciated the customer serivice I recieved from Misty, Dave, and James. Highly recommend Hall Dodge and the employees I worked with to anyone. More
I had just bought my new 2009 dodge 4x4 truck with so many added features. My experience has been out standing with the knowledge and frendliness of the staff. I have been using Hall dodge for the past many added features. My experience has been out standing with the knowledge and frendliness of the staff. I have been using Hall dodge for the past six years for my automotive needs. With having that in mind I never have had a bad experience with this dealership. All the salesmen and managers along with service have been extremely friendly, knowledgeable, respectful to meet my needs. I will keep using hall dodge for a very long time and will reccommend them to my family and freinds. More

HALL DODGE PEOPLE ARE NOTHING LIKE THAT!!!! I have never had people that cared so much about customers!! and not to forget MIKE BROWN he helped make things even better!!! I went to this dealership on two occasions since moving to the beach 2-1/2 years ago. The first time I was looking to trade in a Ram 1500 Megacab on a Quadcab and I was told "I didn't know what the heck I to the beach 2-1/2 years ago. The first time I was looking to trade in a Ram 1500 Megacab on a Quadcab and I was told "I didn't know what the heck I was doing" for thinking about getting rid of my truck. Before moving to the beach, I had purchased 2003, 2004 and 2006 Dodge Rams (in addition to a 1998 Chevy Silverado, and a 2001 and two 2004 Grand Caravans and a 2005 Chevy Suburban) from a Dodge dealer in Farmville, whom this dealership could take some lessons from. Count 'em - 8 vehicles, one used and 7 new vehicles in 6 years! How would this salesman who doesn't know anything about me make a smart aleck comment like that? Also, he was doorside before I could even get out of my truck and I had to ask him to excuse me to get room to get out! All he wanted to do was push another Megacab with about 10K in dealer installed accessories (half that cost if I did it myself) and didn't bother to listen to what I had to say! He was insisting I didn't want to trade, that I should sell outright, or move into a more expensive truck ("Trade up not down man!" is what he said). I thought I was the customer - shouldn't my desires play into my own vehicle purchase at least a little bit? I also noticed a little added on slip of charges next to the sticker, increasing the price of the vehicle from sticker for the acessories. The price on the bed liner was almost twice what I paid by going directly to an installer. Be smart here - check your pricing elsewhere before going to Hall. Next? This guy literally grabbed my shirt sleeve when I said "Thanks" and started to get into my truck! What nerve! Is Hall this desperate for customers? I would see why if they treat people like this! In an attempt to be fair, I dismissed the treatment as probably a new salesman eager to get a commission...until my second visit, that is. The second trip to the dealership was last year (08). I had run into some credit issues after moving three times in two years due to the military and having to sell (and lose a lot) on a house. The salesman literally told me to "come back in a year or so once I was straightened out" and he would "hook me up". Keep in mind, he hadn't taken a credit aplication, and I hadn't even started talking about price or the type vehicle I wanted. I had merely asked about the financing options the dealership had outside traditional programs while browsing through trucks on the lot, explaining my situation. I will thank Hall Dodge for one thing though...due to their sales staff's actions, I found a wonderful Dodge dealer in Chesapeake at Greenbrier and a salesman whom I have purchased 2 new vehicles from in the past year. I read these other reviews from people and wonder where those sales folks were on my two trips? No matter now - I go to Greenbrier (since Haley in Farmville is just too far to drive) for my frequent vehicle trading habits. Sorry, Hall Dodge - your loss. On another note, Hall Dodge performed unapproved maintenence on several Government Services Administration vehicles belonging to my department, charging hundreds for unnecessary services and they are now no longer an approved vendor for our fleet vehicles. Seems the "sheister stereotype" is alive and well at Hall Dodge. More
Misty was very patient with me and made sure I got what I wanted. It took me 2 to 3 months to finally buy and she never complained one time. I told Curt that I was still trying to figure which vehicle to go with as far as F-150, Silverado and the Ram 1500. After a month of doing research and speaking with people, I came into Hall Dodge and met with Curt and Mike. Curt gave me all the information I needed to make a smart decision and did not pressure me at all. That alone is very important to me. I came back two more times and on the final visit, we drove off with a 09 Dodge Ram 1500 with everything I wanted. The overall experience was extremely easy and very quick. Mike assisted me in having the vehicle delivered to the lot to expedite the whole process and the figures my wife and I were happy with. I have purchased vehicles in the past that I sat in the show room for hours on end and only became more frustrated as the day went on. Hall Dodge made everything happen quick. From the time i walked in and drove off, I was there 1 1/2 hours. Thank you! More
Didn't expect much when I walk into the dealership since I've been working with another dealership for two days to get a either a Town & country or caravan in the color I wanted but wasn't having any luck. Mr. Lape was great he answered all our questions, as well as the benefit of the caravan over the competition. He was true to his word he had us in and out within two hours of walking into the dealer. I will definitely use him again for the next purchase. I've already recommended him to my sister for her new purchase once she returns from deployment. It's such a joy to work with a sales person who knows their stuff and deliver what was promised. Thank Aaron for getting me into the vehicle I wanted without the hassle. You were extremely wonderful to work with, will definitely be telling my family and friends about your great service. More
