I had an appointment for an oil change. I got a text regarding scheduling a recall repair. A lot of dealerships use the very high demand for this vehicle to justify higher prices ($3-5K above MSRP), mandatory high profit margin add-ons, non-refundable deposits, and other consumer-unfriendly practices. They also tended to adopt a "take it or leave it" approach to optional equipment with no flexibility to deviate from the build sheet as allocated from Toyota. On the other hand, Madisen at Haley Toyota of Richmond was completely flexible from the beginning, working with us to add and remove optional equipment to suit our needs. She was communicative throughout the process, from allocation, through the build phase, and approaching delivery. Pricing was very fair and transparent, as was the valuation on our trade-in vehicle. There was no pressure throughout the process, and the day-of experience with Madisen was very smooth and painless. Even though we live a couple of hours away, we will definitely consider purchasing from Haley Toyota of Richmond again in the future! More
