Appointment difficulties I made an appointment online for recall work on my Legacy. When I arrived at the Service Center I was told my appointment was not listed even though I I made an appointment online for recall work on my Legacy. When I arrived at the Service Center I was told my appointment was not listed even though I had received multiple email confirmations. I was told by the SC rep that the online system currently is having problems (I had used it successfully in the past). This problem resulted in me basically dedicating the entire day to what should have been a 1 hour service wait. Not clear to me why the online appointment system was still accessible when Haldeman knew it was unreliable. It was a very disappointing experience. More
Fast and reliable service. Nice, quick and easy. Was able to drop off my car, get a courtesy ride to work, and pick it by by lunch time. Staff answered all my questions and they Nice, quick and easy. Not trustworthy. Poor follow through and communication. I brought my car in on a Saturday for an oil leak and oil change. When I made the appointment and when I dropped my car off, I informed them that my l I brought my car in on a Saturday for an oil leak and oil change. When I made the appointment and when I dropped my car off, I informed them that my low tire pressure light was on and my tires need to be filled. They told me this was standard. I was informed they would call me to let me know what they find about the oil leak but never did. I finally called them at 3:40 because I had been told I needed to pick my car up by 4, but they said I can pick it up by 5. When I got there the service department was closed so I couldn’t ask anyone wy my low tire pressure light was still on. I was told I had to wait until Monday to speak to someone because they are closed Sundays. Short story long, when I called Monday, I was told they “probably” put air in my tires. So at 8 months pregnant, in the winter, 2 days after I brought my car in for service, I had to go to the gas station to check if they had done their job. My tires should be at 32 and 33 but 3 of them were at 28 and one was at 24. How do I know if they checked my anti freeze or if I have windshield wiper fluid? I called to speak to a manager, left a message and spoke to someone else who told me they would have a manager call me back. No one ever called me back. Why pay more for a dealership when I never would have had these issues with my local mechanic. Lesson learned. Dealerships are too big to care about taking care of their people. I’ll never go back nor will I recommend. More

Car wasn’t repaired properly Brought our 2015 Subaru Legacy in for a squeeling sound from the engine. The service department diagnosed it as a bad serpentine belt tensioner. Total Brought our 2015 Subaru Legacy in for a squeeling sound from the engine. The service department diagnosed it as a bad serpentine belt tensioner. Total cost was $344,60. Upon driving home from the dealer the car is making the same exact noise. We scheduled another appointment for 13-Feb. I am concerned I paid $344 to replace a part that was not bad. Additionally I was charged a diagnostic fee. Obviously the problem was not properly diagnosed. More

New tire experience Wanted to replace my tires. Checked local stores and online sites. Haldeman had the lowest price out of them all. Ordered them and they were in the ne Wanted to replace my tires. Installation took a little longer than quoted, but that happens. Checked alignment and was not needed. They could have easily charged me gor an alignment, but were honest about it. More
