The ease of making an appointment for service is easy and who ever is working the service department is calm and understanding. Until this May,there was just regular service, but May brought regular service with the recall work. Then there were a few random difficulties with key sticking in ignition followed by a few longer troubling incidents after which I just drove by to get Subaru service opinion. To my surprise, NIchole immediately recognized the problem and set up appointment for next day. I appreciated her knowledge, effectiveness and the repairs accomplished. After many starts and stops today the key worked well. More
Unacceptable I brought my car in for a recall on a brake light for my 2015 Subaru Forester. It Took the service center a half hour to complete. I Did not even get five miles from the dealership after leaving and a service light came on. It read hill break assist needs to be serviced or something to that nature. I called Subaru right away and they informed me to come back and that they would look at the car. However, they did not seem alarmed or the need to mention what I might experience by this light coming on. Right after I had gotten of the phone with them I had turned on to 130 to come back to Subaru. Right down on 130 I came to a small hill this was my first problem. I was unable to accelerate and my car was slowing down. I had no idea what was going on and what the problem was. This was happening as i am driving 55mph the speed limit and cars are behind me. I proceeded to pull over and the car was able to accelerate after this. This happened two more times in the 7 minute drive back through Hamilton to the Subaru dealership on Route 33. From here I spoke with the service manager who took the car in. After a half hour I received my car back and was told the switch that controls this was not fully engaged and which could have been causing my car to break and not accelerate. This entire situation is unacceptable and even more of a safety issue for customers. I do not feel the service manager grasped how dangerous and liable Subaru was if I was to get in or cause an accident from leaving the dealership with my car in this form. Now I understand things happen these cars are all computer generated. But something needs to be done before cars are handed back over to the owner. I even asked the manager, how well are these service checks really performed before they send customers out on to the road. If that light came on not even five minutes from leaving the lot. I was shaken up by this experience especially after coming in for a break light repair and leaving with a car that couldn’t drive correctly, which very well could have cause an accident making Subaru liable. This needs to be addressed and I would like to hear back from the appropriate person. More

Poor Quality of support I purchased my 2011 Subaru Forester brand new at this dealership. They have done every maintenance service and oil change. Recently my car stalled and I purchased my 2011 Subaru Forester brand new at this dealership. They have done every maintenance service and oil change. Recently my car stalled and I was told the engine was not receiving enough oil pressure and that the entire engine would have to be rebuilt. They offered no help and took no responsibility that this very large issue should have been caught by the service team. Every oil change was done on time. They also recently replaced my catalytic convert 2 months prior. If there were large issues in my engine this should have been noticed. I attempted to call the general manager 4 times over 5 days. He never had the courtesy of picking up the phone or calling me back after leaving multiple messages. I have taken my car elsewhere. More
