They did what I wanted in a timely manner at what I cinsidered a fair price. And they are consistantly with that practice. And, I will return to Haldeman when I need more work done. cinsidered a fair price. And they are consistantly with that practice. And, I will return to Haldeman when I need more work done. More
Careless service engineers, they don't bother to call and provide status of servicing. Parts replacement is very expensive. Unless asked they don't even wash the car, even if car was purchased from them. provide status of servicing. Parts replacement is very expensive. I waited a week ans half for an appt 09/13 for a recall of head lites for my Grand Mar. (2003). A few days later i was having problem with my windshield wipes and returned to the dealership a to inquire ab of head lites for my Grand Mar. (2003). A few days later i was having problem with my windshield wipes and returned to the dealership a to inquire about them and i was informed if i had an appt already they would address them then. Well i arrived 09/13 on time @ 930am. MY CAR WAS NOT EVEN DONE...NOT THE RECALL HEADLITES OR THE WIPERS...I WASNT EVEN CALLED ABOUT MY CAR..I WAS SCHEDULED FOR WORK THE FOLLOWING DAY..I ARRIVED JUST IN TIME BECAUSE THE DEALERSHIP WAS CLOSING WITH MY CAR IN IT. My one and only request upon dropping my car off for routine maintenance & oil change was to check the air in all the tires. (this was not done for this maintenance nor my prior maintenance appt earli routine maintenance & oil change was to check the air in all the tires. (this was not done for this maintenance nor my prior maintenance appt earlier this year.) Subaru has a wonderful automated tire pressure monitoring system. The tire pressure monitoring screen was set to always be visible and it reported all 4 tires around 28-30 psi, not the manufacture suggested 36psi front & 33 psi rear, visibly displayed on the driver side door jam. The season is changing with average temperatures at least 15-20 degrees cooler than summer days, likely effecting all car tire pressures. I asked again at the pickup window when making payment. A female associate (possibly management) approached me at window and specifically stated there was “no leak in the tires”. 1/4 mile away upon exiting the maintenance shop my tire pressure system displayed the identical tire pressures As when I arrived. A second time missing this normal point on the inspection list demonstrates a lack of good oversight over the shop’s employees and workmanship. I added air to all 4 tires and noticed the tire caps WERE NEVER REMOVED. I was on a race car pit crew responsible for tire changes and I identified no break dust was wiped off the tire caps as would have happened if they were removed to check tire pressures by hand and add additional air, further boiling my blood about this episode.
