I would say my overall experience with Haldeman Ford was positive, I was introduced to Haldeman via Kelly Blue book inquiry regarding the trade in value of my 2015 BMW 640. I wasn't provided the price quoted by KBB but offered $1k less. I traded the car and saved ~$1200 in NJ sales tax and the sales manager attributed that savings to their offer price (not really applicable..). In any event after haggling for 30 mins we came to terms and competed the transaction. Overall I was satisfied with the transaction and had an expected sales experience, I am currently enjoying my 2018 F150 Lariat. More

Came in for my second oil change and tire rotation on my 2021 Forester. The service desk staff were friendly, the work was done quickly and neatly and coupons had been mailed to me to reduce the price. 2021 Forester. Bought a 2022 F-250 in Nov 2021. Salesman Don was professional and knowledgable., so was the finance department. The truck has been in the service department and body shop multiple times for minor problems. Issue #1; I was hearing a "clunking" under the front end, it took two days for them to figure out the hubs were locked in and was avoiding my calls when I call for an update. (Shame on me for not checking the hubs before I dropped it off) If you don't call service before 4:00 to see if your vehicle is ready, be prepared to find other means of transportation on the next day unless it made it back to the evening pick up window. Issue #2; Clunking in the rear when the truck is up shifting or down shifting, very easily to hear, yet three mechanics can not hear anything. It's funny how my 12 year old nephew asked me what the noise is coming from the back of the truck....... again no call to say its ready to be picked up. I will be taking the truck to another dealership for the clunking in the rear... Issue #3; The rear bumper was mounted misaligned (assuming from the factory), the 1st scheduled drop off it never made it to the body shop.... the body shop manager said " I was wondering where it was" but never called me or checked the service dept. which is where they want you to drop it off, and then blamed the girl in service for not sending over the keys. He said I should have wrote "Body Shop" all over my paper work..... On the second appointment for the bumper again no call to let me know if I could pick up the truck and had to find other means of transportation for the following day. When called the next day I felt like I was being avoided for two days, again needed to find other transportation. I finally called my salesman and asked him for the personal phone number of the body shop manager. Which I did receive. The manager told me that the mechanic that looked at the bumper didn't have a lot of experience and I had to wait until the experienced body tech came back to work to fix it. Finally I was able to get the truck at the shop the same day the expert was working, again I call for the update and was told they had to order a part and would call me when the part arrived. 13 business days later I called for an update on the part and was told it just came in today...... So again I drop off the truck, the next day you guest it I called in late afternoon for an update minutes before everyone was leaving for the day and was told "the wrong part was ordered" Are you freaking kidding me!!!!! Sooo I called two weeks later for an update on the correct part for the bumper and miraculously "it just came in" Again I drop off the truck to have the bumper alignment, the next day... yes I called for an update in late afternoon and was told it was ready. I go to the service department hopefully for the last time EVER, and the keys are missing I kid you not. I happen to look over through the service window and see my keys in the corner of the desk. Now keys in hand I go to the truck to inspect the work..... Yes the area that was misaligned and not parallel is now aligned and parallel.... Too bad it is NOT THE SAME AS THE OTHER SIDE!!!!!! I forgot to mention to you this dealership is 17 miles from my home. Not one "sorry for the inconvenience, or here is a loaner car. But I must say the coffee maker in the waiting room is pretty cool. In my opinion the body shop manager and the service manager need training in customer service and increasing correspondence with customers. Never again will I go back to Haldeman Ford on Rte 33 MS More
