Terrible customer service post-purchase I will forever be going to a different dealership. I love my car, which was brand new at the time of purchase, but the customer service after it was p I will forever be going to a different dealership. I love my car, which was brand new at the time of purchase, but the customer service after it was purchased has been terrible. I took my car in to have a few items looked at that were covered by the warranty package I bought as it had to be evaluated before anything could be fixed. It then took two months of calling to set up an appointment but no one followed through with me. Finally, I was able to set up an appointment but it turns out that they did not keep a record of the initial evaluation and were supposed to take photos but didn't...their poor customer service is resulting in multiple trips and taking time off work for me. I am very disappointed. More

My sales rep Brandon was helpful, responsive to requests for information, and accomodated me as I changed my mind from one model (which he had to go to another store to get) to the Outback I eventually purchased. The Car Fax service records were provided up front. I shopped numerous dealers to get a sense of the current market (I hadn't bought in six years). Market has changed a lot in that time, internet pricing leaves far less wiggle room in price then a few years back. One dealership (bertera honda in bennington) showed me a car two thousand out of my price range, insisted it could work (me naively thinking that they would come down the two thousand and then trying to use monthly payments as a way to bridge the difference). This car was the same model I bought here (less miles but two years older) and it was near two thousand dollars more the price I got at Haddad. There was no games with Brandon to get me to buy a car out of my max budget, he showed me what they had. When my partner wanted to discuss the price of the vehicle and mull it over, he gave me the vehicle overnight to show him with no money to hold it. I wouldn't say no pressure, but nothing extreme and it kind of goes with the gig. I will say this is the only dealership where the sales manager did not come over at some point and talk to me and thank me which was a bit of a turn off as I did visit several dealerships and they all came over, introduced themselves, thanked me for coming in, gave me the best price (most were pretty up front about price). Here it was kind of oz behind the curtain only it was the service desk, I don't think he ever made eye contact. Not cool, Mr. Sales Manager. I may not be buying a new car, but I am still laying down 15 grand with you and it doesn't make good business to not just shake a hand and express thanks. The finance manager got me a good competitive market rate with approval under an hour. Four year payments came in under the estimated payments we came up with for 48 months. The one thing that wasn't cool here was when I was signing the papers (and you sign a lot), and got to the last one, the price did not reflect the negotiated deal but the original sticker price. Had I not caught it, I would have agreed to several hundred dollars above the agreed price! SO READ THE PAPER WORK AND MAKE SURE THE NUMBERS ARE RIGHT. I don't know if this was an honest mistake or not, but really not something that a customer should even have to think about....that a dealer might not put the right price on the paperwork, that almost brought down this review to a two. They handled the registration, inspection, and contact with the insurance, so I got the car the next morning. Brandon was helpful in explaining the gadgets on the car. In the end, I am happy with my car, I have a good rate and affordable payments and a fair bottom line price considering current market value (Subarus hold their value so high) and I like my car. Lasly, I will say that I reluctant to use Haddad at all because my guy had gone their for a recall on his Subaru and they tried to charge him for reading the code on the car which is a total scam, so my advice to the dealership, don't pull that b.s. because you may make 80 bucks off a rube who doesn't know that fee is bogus and goes along with it but you will lose forever a customer. One of the reasons my partner was hestitant to buy was because of that experience and had I not shopped other dealerships to know that this was a fair buy, we wouldn't have purchased. Honesty is the best policy. More
