I should have read this site before driving from S Dekalb County all the way to this dealership. I found a used vehicle, 2000 model F150 truck on at least 2 internet sites that was available at GP. The photo County all the way to this dealership. I found a used vehicle, 2000 model F150 truck on at least 2 internet sites that was available at GP. The photos of the truck should have given me a clue of what was up. The exterior pics were very slightly out of focus and barely noticeable to the untrained eye. I called and talked to used car salesman who told me about the truck, how clean it was, how good looking it was, low miles, bla bla. The photos made the exterior look unblemished. When I arrived to see the truck, a salesman was upon me before I stepped completely outside of my vehicle. It made me feel as I was being attacked by a bird of prey. The truck was pulled up to the curb and I immediately saw the condition of the exterior...several deep scratches and paint chips all around. The driver side seat had a rip in the fabric that will get worse with time. The interior was dirty as it was not even vacuumed before being stickered. The truck had "only 97,000 miles" on the odometer and they kept pushing the low miles as a selling point. Big deal since the truck was obviously heavily used and a bit beat up. The manager offered a 3 month 3000 mile warranty. I am finding out after reading posts here that warranty was possible lip service to close the deal. I mentioned the truck was equipped no upgrades, no power package, cruise control, map lights, remote access, after market audio that badly mismatches with interior and poorly installed, and tacky purple tinted windows! The carfax report showed a rear end damage in accident. GP played that off and said most vehicles are involved in fender benders. I asked a deduction for the previous wrecked condition, was denied. I explained I want to think about the deal and continue looking at other trucks I found, the manager went into high pressure sales mode. He told me that several people looked at the truck earlier in the day and someone will be looking at it tomorrow. This implied that the truck may be sold at any minute and I would lose out on a wonderful deal. I mentioned the lack of power package and his response "I can have a power package installed for you, let me check how much it will cost you." If it was not original when truck was built, I am not interested in any after market accessories like power windows and locks as they are complicated electrical components that will fail if not installed correctly, and may not be warranted. The manager seemed irritated that he could not close a deal with me on the spot and would not take no for an answer. He then immediately knocked 1000 off the sticker on the spot in attempt to sweeten the deal. But with the junk fees, it still put the total price back up to over the sticker that I was not willing to pay. I did not bite, I repeated again for the umpteenth time I want to cont to look and make comparisons. He followed me out the door, traded phone numbers, and was still trying to close this deal. The next day I found a 2002 model F150 fully loaded, very clean with perfect exterior/interior with 120K, the dealer made me an offer with a drive out price of $1 more than the sticker price of the junk truck GP was trying to push on me. Well the GP salesman called me later that day to follow up on his deal. When I explained that I just purchased a newer model truck, fully loaded for total price the same as his sticker on his stripped truck, the next words out of his mouth was his truck had 23,000 lower miles and would have been a better deal for me! I barely pay attention to TV commercials, but I recently saw an ad for Gwinnett Place Nissan and the announcer was one who YELLS AND SCREAMS AT YOU. These ads are typical of the independent, lemon lot, fly by night used car dealerships and not an alleged major new car dealership. Do not buy a vehicle anyone who YELL AND SCREAM on their TV ads as these dealers are usually rip off artists. More
I purchased a toyota Sequoia. At the closing of the deal I was advised/ offeredan extended warranty and other items. within a week i was told the bank wouldn't finance me for 600.00 per month bu deal I was advised/ offeredan extended warranty and other items. within a week i was told the bank wouldn't finance me for 600.00 per month but they'd do 450 per month which i could do if i removed the extended warranty. Iw as advised to speak to the sales manager to see if the price of the truck could be lowered so that I could afford the truck with the warranty. upon going back i was informed that the price wasn't flexible, my trade in had been sold and I could go out and purchase and extended warranty out right with what i was saving in payments and other fees. I was very distrubed by this becuase I purchased a 5 year old vechile with 80,000+ miles on it and the best security they could offer me what the price of my parts at cost ( what they pay for them). That was when i decided i would contact the BBB and lodge a complaint for unfair business practices. I have also had to wait for a referal check to eb cut becuase prior to the rewriting of my deal i refered another customer to go and do business wiht this dealership and as of this point in time we have almost doubled the dealine for recieving the check. I have had a Nissan and used dealer service for 13 years (mostly Regal in Roswell). GP sold me my 45K service 5K early and upsold me some items that were covered on 30K service, saying that the other deale (mostly Regal in Roswell). GP sold me my 45K service 5K early and upsold me some items that were covered on 30K service, saying that the other dealer didn't do the items (I had the receipt). Maybe they were telling the truth, but I don't think so. The car wasn't ready, but they did not call me. I finally called them right before closing, but it was too late for them to arrange a rental car. This cost me a few hours of inconvenience. When I complained about the 'stranding' the service manager was rude to me. Surprisingly in front of the other customers. He gave me a business card with 'free oil change' scribbled on it. I will not be using it. After checking the internet, I found the service manager's name in several very negative postings. He had the nerve to ask me several times if I was going to give him good ratings when the survey comes from Nissan in the mail!! In the future, I will drive the extra mileage to go to Regal Nissan in Roswell for service. More
Umm why cant I chose a negative number or word to rate this place? Like -5 or something like incompetent. This place should be reported to the BBB. They have a few nice people that work there but they this place? Like -5 or something like incompetent. This place should be reported to the BBB. They have a few nice people that work there but they rotate out employees every 1 or 2 weeks. So if you go there one day its a good chance the saleperson you talked to won't be there the next time. Also like others have said, you pull in the parkinglot and boom, about 10 salespeople standing outside attack you. They dont even let you get one foot out your car. They talk to you through your glass until you get out your car. I have no idea how this place stays in business with those type of tactics. Moving on, They have a large selection of cars and trucks which is good. The problem is that every single car there is grossly overpriced. I call that place Price Gouging Central. A few of their cars are marked at msrp at around 24-25 grand. Now after they work out the numbers they come back to you with 27 or 28 grand. Does that make any sense?? Msrp 24-25 and they offer you 27-28??? (NO leather, xm radio, navigation etc.) Now onto the manager.... The manager that dealt with me was brainless, senseless, cocky and a 100% unreasonable sack of bones. On their website it says there the #1 volume store in georgia.... right. The 2007 models are out/ coming out and they have a full lot of 2006 cars. Why? because this place is rip off central. I didnt buy my car from this rat hole because it's a scam to get you for every dollar you have and I highly recommend that you dont either. So I give this place A -5 rating. Im also thinking about calling nissan direct and sending in a complaint. If that doesnt work then maybe I'll try the BBB, Boy do I have an in-depth story to tell them. More
at first it seemed as if i was being attacked by hungry zombies as we pulled up, all the salespeople standing out front just waiting for someone to pull in, when we did we were cordially greeted by a nice zombies as we pulled up, all the salespeople standing out front just waiting for someone to pull in, when we did we were cordially greeted by a nice gentleman, he didnt push us he didnt rush anything we took our time and he found us the titan that we wanted fortunately they had a f150 and a dodge ram on the lot to compare it to, we we sold on the titan, since they had such a large selection we didnt have to travel to find what we wanted, we were so happy with the truck, granted their service dept and managers were a bit pushy but our salesperson was really what all car business' need i would recommend him to anyone loking for a nissan More
This is another high pressure dealership in Gwinnett County. I was looking to trade my Mustang for a G35 or a Nissan Maxima. I first went to the Infiniti dealer and then took to G35 to Nissan to do a County. I was looking to trade my Mustang for a G35 or a Nissan Maxima. I first went to the Infiniti dealer and then took to G35 to Nissan to do a side by side comparison with the Maxima. I was sold on the Maxima, but still wasn't sure and needed more time to think before I made the deal. These guys weren't willing to give me time to think at all and would not let me leave the dealership. I finally got the car. I got ripped off on the price, but that is a whole other story. My main issue occured when I went in finance to finalize the deal. This was my first (and only) lease and was unsure about Gap insurance. The first person told me Gap insurance was included on all their leases. I accepted the offer. Because I didn't have my checkbook with me they told me to bring it back the next day so I could pay them. When I went back in the next day I worked with a guy named TJ. I also asked him about the GAP insurance and he told me it was NOT included in the lease. And proceeded to sell me what I thought was GAP insurance. It turned out it was Theft Guard. I called TJ back and he told me a lie saying that GAP insurance was included with Theft Guard. I finally called Nissan themeslves and they told me that GAP insurance is inluded with the lease payments and I did not need to pay for anything seperate. I went back to Nissan to get my money back, and TJ no longer worked for them. I finally got my money back for the Theft Guard because my windows were never etched with the VIN number. I ended up hating the car and after about 14 months in the lease, I sold the Maxima to a private party and finally got out of the bad lease with me only having to pay the negative equity. I haven't been back to Gwinnett Place Nissan since. Like Gwinnett Place Ford they employ crooks and liars. Stay away from them at all costs. The only good thing I can say about them is that they have a pretty good service department, but then again I only had the car long enough for two routine services More

Alot of those guys are pretty rude, and don't seem to want to take the time to deal with you but Larry seems to be the exception to the rule there.<br> More
I went by to look at a truck in which I liked & I told them I would be back tomorrow to get the truck get it cleaned up. Dennis said it wouldn't be a problem to get it cleaned when I showed up the ne told them I would be back tomorrow to get the truck get it cleaned up. Dennis said it wouldn't be a problem to get it cleaned when I showed up the next day. I told him I had to be somewhere by 6pm. The next day I show up and the truck is not clean but they started on it. I had to have them quit so I could be at my appointment which I was fifteen minutes late because of the empty promises of it is almost done. Dennis told me to bring it back on Sunday and he would have it cleaned and fill my truck up with gas because I drove off the car lot on fumes. I show up on Sunday Dennis was with a customer so I dealt with Mike (who I had been talking to for a couple of weeks on the internet), Mike sent the truck in back to be cleaned and the guy who was detailing refused to clean it because he was mad that I rushed the detailing on Tuesday and none of the men in new or used sales departments made him clean it. I was not giving my tank of gas. They had the attitude that they did not need to do anything for me because I had already bought the truck. The customer service was terrible, this is just the short story it was worse than this. I do not suggest for any one to buy from them, you will not be treated properly and they will lie to you. More
