After finalizing car for 19500 with leather seats, they gave me the price and kept me in dark that price they are offering is without leather. it was clearly written in what I wanted on paper. When my wife gave me the price and kept me in dark that price they are offering is without leather. it was clearly written in what I wanted on paper. When my wife asked when we are coming for leather seat installed, they said What? As if he was totally unaware of my needs. Only thing I specified was leather and nothing else. How can smartest guy in dealership forget such an important thing. I went to so many other dealership. They are the worst in Atlanta in my opinion. They are trying to cheat. More
The service department is awful. Any time estimate they have ever given me has been off by at least twofold. Simple oil changes left me waiting more than 90 minutes. They tried to tell me repairs that we have ever given me has been off by at least twofold. Simple oil changes left me waiting more than 90 minutes. They tried to tell me repairs that were clearly covered by the warranty were not and that i would have to pay for them myself. They also sold me a car as brand new. When I went to sell the car, it was inspected and they uncovered that the car had a panel replaced because it was damaged. I never had an accident in that car, and I was NEVER told about any damage/replacement by the dealer. More
i was told that the 2005 Nissan Altima i was interested in was available and i fixed up an appointment for a Saturday. I rented a vehicle and drove 110 miles to GPN and was excited to test ride the car. Wh in was available and i fixed up an appointment for a Saturday. I rented a vehicle and drove 110 miles to GPN and was excited to test ride the car. When i met the sales personnel (July Zavala) with whom i had talked on phone just two days prior to making the visit, i was told that the car had already been sold. All my time, effort and money was at loss because of unprofessional and mean tactics used by the dealership to get customers to visit them. I would highly recommend customers against such dealers who have no value for the words they promise. Gwinnett Place Nissan was a pathetic and horrendous experience and suck big time. More

I went in for an oil change because I received a coupon from the headquarters office where you purchase then get reimbursed. It was an awful experience. No coffee. The service guy tried to tell me that from the headquarters office where you purchase then get reimbursed. It was an awful experience. No coffee. The service guy tried to tell me that there was a lot wrong with my car but I just did 90% of what he said in the last 6 months. I also asked him to show me where he mentioned I needed work and he said he would when he brought the car around. 20 mins later, he never showed up and I had to find my car because they left it in the parking lot with the key in it!!! I could have just left and not paid, but because I don't want to get to their level, I paid and left. I won't come back unless it is for another free oil change and if they leave my car again with the key in it, I will leave. More
I Purchased my vehicle back on February of this year and I really didn't have a problem with the sales portion. I was satisfied with my monthly payment because it was the car that i wanted for a ling time- I really didn't have a problem with the sales portion. I was satisfied with my monthly payment because it was the car that i wanted for a ling time- 2004 G35 coupe. Well I drove off the lot with it and took the vehicle to Infiniti of Gwinnett where I had it inspected. For a car that was supposed to be certified pre-owned I was told that my oil hadn't been changed in months, The medal threads on my tired were showing, the clutch and flywheel were bad and would have to be replaced soon, my breaks were bad, and the rotors have to be replaced soon. Well I tried numerous times to talk to Nissan of Gwinnett to see if they would fix the issues and they told me that there was nothing they could do. I had already purchased the vehicle. Later I found out that the reason my car was "certified pre-owned" was because the car belonged to one of the managers that works there so no real inspection had been done. Plus when they gave me my free tank of gas i went with the sales rep to the Gas station and even though my car says "Super Unleaded Plus" They stilled filled it up with regular. I asked how come she doesn't fill it with what it says and she said that they fill all the cars there with regular. Which can cause future problems with the engine. I was so blind because it was the car that i wanted for a while that I didn't take my time and had it inspected before I signed the paper. Well for future buyers I don't recommend this dealership. First I would like to say that all the people I dealt with were friendly and nice. My complaint primarilty concerns the lack of professionalism that was displayed. I had gone to this dealership three ti with were friendly and nice. My complaint primarilty concerns the lack of professionalism that was displayed. I had gone to this dealership three times in two days to look at cars and try to come to a decision on which car I wanted. I finally found a car that had just come in from auction and was exactly what I had been looking for. With Rick Day I went over the car and was satisfied it was what I wanted. I made an uncommitted verbal offer and Rick without referencing any documentation said he could not sell the car for what I was offering ( see other reports relating to over priced cars). He then said to call Warren Carty, the salesman I had been dealing with before. I called Warren at 7 PM that evening, gave him the stock # and said I was ready to discuss buying the car. Warren said he was with a customer and would call me back in 10-15 minutes or have Chad or another manager contact me. I waited 24 hours then called his manager Rick Day and told him what had happened. I want to emphasis that at no time was anyone rude or impolite. Rich did apologise and asked what he could do, but restated that the price on the car was not negotiable even though I had not staed what I was prepared to do. Again, this seems to substantiate the reports of others of over priced cars. I was told that this dealer works on " low price and volumn". I can not agree less. To conclude I found the same car; year, model and mileage at another dealer. They were asking $2000 less that Gwinnett Place Nissan. Finally bought the car from the other dealer. Whether or not I could have worked a deal with Gwinnett Place Nissan will never be known because they never called me back. If this is the type of attention and respect you get when trying to buy a car here - what kind of treatment and service could you expect after you have bought your car? Nice, friendly, glad handing and smiling -yes. Professional - NO! More
I should have read this site before driving from S Dekalb County all the way to this dealership. I found a used vehicle, 2000 model F150 truck on at least 2 internet sites that was available at GP. The photo County all the way to this dealership. I found a used vehicle, 2000 model F150 truck on at least 2 internet sites that was available at GP. The photos of the truck should have given me a clue of what was up. The exterior pics were very slightly out of focus and barely noticeable to the untrained eye. I called and talked to used car salesman who told me about the truck, how clean it was, how good looking it was, low miles, bla bla. The photos made the exterior look unblemished. When I arrived to see the truck, a salesman was upon me before I stepped completely outside of my vehicle. It made me feel as I was being attacked by a bird of prey. The truck was pulled up to the curb and I immediately saw the condition of the exterior...several deep scratches and paint chips all around. The driver side seat had a rip in the fabric that will get worse with time. The interior was dirty as it was not even vacuumed before being stickered. The truck had "only 97,000 miles" on the odometer and they kept pushing the low miles as a selling point. Big deal since the truck was obviously heavily used and a bit beat up. The manager offered a 3 month 3000 mile warranty. I am finding out after reading posts here that warranty was possible lip service to close the deal. I mentioned the truck was equipped no upgrades, no power package, cruise control, map lights, remote access, after market audio that badly mismatches with interior and poorly installed, and tacky purple tinted windows! The carfax report showed a rear end damage in accident. GP played that off and said most vehicles are involved in fender benders. I asked a deduction for the previous wrecked condition, was denied. I explained I want to think about the deal and continue looking at other trucks I found, the manager went into high pressure sales mode. He told me that several people looked at the truck earlier in the day and someone will be looking at it tomorrow. This implied that the truck may be sold at any minute and I would lose out on a wonderful deal. I mentioned the lack of power package and his response "I can have a power package installed for you, let me check how much it will cost you." If it was not original when truck was built, I am not interested in any after market accessories like power windows and locks as they are complicated electrical components that will fail if not installed correctly, and may not be warranted. The manager seemed irritated that he could not close a deal with me on the spot and would not take no for an answer. He then immediately knocked 1000 off the sticker on the spot in attempt to sweeten the deal. But with the junk fees, it still put the total price back up to over the sticker that I was not willing to pay. I did not bite, I repeated again for the umpteenth time I want to cont to look and make comparisons. He followed me out the door, traded phone numbers, and was still trying to close this deal. The next day I found a 2002 model F150 fully loaded, very clean with perfect exterior/interior with 120K, the dealer made me an offer with a drive out price of $1 more than the sticker price of the junk truck GP was trying to push on me. Well the GP salesman called me later that day to follow up on his deal. When I explained that I just purchased a newer model truck, fully loaded for total price the same as his sticker on his stripped truck, the next words out of his mouth was his truck had 23,000 lower miles and would have been a better deal for me! I barely pay attention to TV commercials, but I recently saw an ad for Gwinnett Place Nissan and the announcer was one who YELLS AND SCREAMS AT YOU. These ads are typical of the independent, lemon lot, fly by night used car dealerships and not an alleged major new car dealership. Do not buy a vehicle anyone who YELL AND SCREAM on their TV ads as these dealers are usually rip off artists. More
I purchased a toyota Sequoia. At the closing of the deal I was advised/ offeredan extended warranty and other items. within a week i was told the bank wouldn't finance me for 600.00 per month bu deal I was advised/ offeredan extended warranty and other items. within a week i was told the bank wouldn't finance me for 600.00 per month but they'd do 450 per month which i could do if i removed the extended warranty. Iw as advised to speak to the sales manager to see if the price of the truck could be lowered so that I could afford the truck with the warranty. upon going back i was informed that the price wasn't flexible, my trade in had been sold and I could go out and purchase and extended warranty out right with what i was saving in payments and other fees. I was very distrubed by this becuase I purchased a 5 year old vechile with 80,000+ miles on it and the best security they could offer me what the price of my parts at cost ( what they pay for them). That was when i decided i would contact the BBB and lodge a complaint for unfair business practices. I have also had to wait for a referal check to eb cut becuase prior to the rewriting of my deal i refered another customer to go and do business wiht this dealership and as of this point in time we have almost doubled the dealine for recieving the check.
