We worked with Tim Kettler to purchase our Honda Odyssey this evening. I communicated with him via email prior to coming to the dealership and he was extremely attentive, quick to respond and helpful in ans this evening. I communicated with him via email prior to coming to the dealership and he was extremely attentive, quick to respond and helpful in answering my questions. When we arrived on site for our appointment today, he was very pleasant and not pushy or aggressive in any way. He worked a great deal for us - even managing to get us new floor mats for our vehicle. We had a great experience thanks to Tim and others who assisted with our purchase. We are excited about our "new-to-us" car. More
I would like to say thanks for a great experience at Gwinnet Honda. In the past, I have found car buying to be cumbersome and very time consuming. Our recent car purchase with Gwinnett Place Honda was t Gwinnet Honda. In the past, I have found car buying to be cumbersome and very time consuming. Our recent car purchase with Gwinnett Place Honda was the total opposite. We were welcomed at the door, kept informed through out the process, and the matter in which our business was handled was top notch. Everyone we dealt with acted in a professional and courteous matter. We have already recommend Gwinnet Place Honda and Ernst Louis to our friends and hopefully they will be calling on you soon. Gwinnett Place Honda has gained a lifetime customer and we will defiantly visit them for our next car purchase. More

I gave Gwinnett Place Honda an excellent review based off of the experience that I had with Tim Kettler and Robert P. Turner. Tim Kettler was very patient with me and he understood all of my concerns. He went above and beyond in making sure that all of my concerns were taken care of and I truly appreciate that. This was my first car purchase and Tim made sure that is was a great experience. If I know anyone looking to purchase a car, I will definitely refer them to Tim. Robert Turner in financing was also excellent. I appreciate how he was able to show me the best options for my budget. Robert understood all of my financial concerns and took care of them. I do feel like I will always be able to look back at this experience and always know that I was in good hands and I was taken care of. Tim and Robert, I truly appreciate your kindness, your knowledge, and your patience. If I ever have any questions or concerns in the future, I will not hesitate to contact you. More
I have purchase my last three cars from Gwinnett Place Honda. I will not purchase any more from them. The service department has gone downhill. First I had purchase a service plan for my 2009 Honda Accord Honda. I will not purchase any more from them. The service department has gone downhill. First I had purchase a service plan for my 2009 Honda Accord. I found out at 12,000 they never rotated my tires. I also had them fix a front carpet issue on my car. They replace the front carpet but they broke a couple of connector under the center seat panel and gave it back. I found that out night that the tray door would not close and took it back the next day to have them correct the damage they did in the install. At 15,000 services they gave it back and said everything was fine. A week later my back breaks was making a loud noise. They said it was noted on my last service the back break needed replacing. I ask why they would after only 15,000 miles and I was told the breaks now pull from the rear as the primary breaks. I felt this was just some BS and three weeks later I get a notice of a settlement by Honda on rear brakes failing premature on Accords and Acura. I went in and ask them about it and they said just go out to a website and file my claim. So I was lied too. Now I notice the leather seats are cracking around the sides. I have only 17,000 miles on the care and had it for only 18 months. They are telling me it is not cover by the warranty. So Gwinnett Place Honda has really gone downhill. I am looking to trade my care in only after 18 months just so I don't have to deal with the lies and poor care and repairs. Gwinnett Place Honda has just lost a long term customer. More
Do not buy a used car from this place. Despite what they say, do not believe that a thorough check has been done on the vehicle prior to being put on display for sale. Get a 2nd, outside, opinion. Not doing say, do not believe that a thorough check has been done on the vehicle prior to being put on display for sale. Get a 2nd, outside, opinion. Not doing so will cost you in the long-run when issues not seen by the human eye erupt within a reasonable 30-days of purchase. Luckily, I was able to detect the terribly frayed seatbelt (a major safety issue), but I didn't readily detect the door handle, which was wasn't securely attached. Within 30 days, that door handle literally fell off. The $4500 extended "super" warranty that I purchased did not cover the repair because the door handle, while integral to safely entering, exiting, and protecting the vehicle and my family, was considered a "trim" item, which is not covered. Nothing against the sales person. He was extremely nice and empathetic (hence the 5-rating for "friendliness," but ultimately, his hands were tied by managers who continue to give the phrase "used car salesman" a bad name. As a matter of fact, the manager even hinted that I could have loosened damaged the handle. In the 20 years that I have been buying cars, I've never seen a handle come off a car. Give me a break! I just paid the money. I did, however, get a miminal 50 dollar discount after having to sit through dumb "metaphors" about "brother's houses." Thanks, JR for that. In short, go elsewhere. While I see that this dealer has pretty good overall reviews, do you really want to take the chance that you'll fall in the unlucky category that I have fallen in?!!! Especially when making a $30,000 purchase?!!! My money is hard-earned and I'd rather not gamble with it. If this review makes one person thinks twice and go elsewhere, then the time I spent to warn the public is well worth it. I feel so strongly about this, that I will find other ways to post my opinion outside of this site. Caveat Emptor. I hope they spend the money I wasted well. More

Just a pleasant experience from start to finish. I start my new car searching using the internet and then once I'm satisfied I come in, test drive, and purchase. I was quoted a drive Gwinnett Place Honda posted on 5/25/2010 Sales and Service I bought Honda civic from GPH. The worst experiecnce of my life. I was quoted a drive out quote on the Internet by salesman Hamilton and then when got their to purchase the vehicle. They wanted at least $1000 more for the paint quoting and mud flaps so I walked out of the place very angry. After few days they contacted me and wanted to work with me and I told them the final purchase price was much cheaper than their offer. They told me to come in and they will work it out. It took 5 hours in back and forth negotioations even when I had quote from one other dealer. When I asked about the service coupon book or first oil change being free. The salesman response was yes we take care of our customers and first oil change is free. After purchasing the car and having 4500 miles on it, I contacted the service department and told them that I was told that first oil change is free. The lady I believe the name was Gena told me that's not the case and transferred me to the Internet Sales Manager. Who was very rude and basically said If you don't have it from us in writing than it is not free. I explained it to him the situation but he was still rude, so after few sentences I pretty much told him that I will never buty or recommend anyone to buy Honda from Gwinnett Place Honda. They will never ever have any business from me again. More

I visited the dealership after getting all my information togther and when I compared my numbers to theirs there were no surprises. They were very friendly and helpful and delivered a fair price. I did not go with them in the end but it was not because of price or their service...it was their location relative to the dealer we ultimately went with. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks Chad! More
