MOST OF THE GOOD REVIEWS FAKE-- This dealership will "give" you free mats for your vehicle when you show them proof you gave them a 5 star reviews on 2 different websites---- so they paid for all these "give" you free mats for your vehicle when you show them proof you gave them a 5 star reviews on 2 different websites---- so they paid for all these "great 5 star reviews". This dealership is the King of Bait and Switch!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE— if you don't believe me, keep reading all the bad reviews. Or Go to their own website and read the bad reviews there. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! They Post their cars online for one price --- lets say $20k, but what they don't say is that they have added “UPGRADES” to the car-- that you MUST BUY - that are NOT included in that listed price. That cost of the “UPGRADE” is anywhere from $4,000 to $6,000. This is according to my experience and the other reviews I read ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE! To me that is "Bait and Switch". They list a car online for $20k really BIG, then they have TINY TINY small print at the bottom of the page that says you must pay for the Tax, Title and Upgrades. THIS UNSCRUPULOUS sales tactic changes a $20k car you came to look at into a $24k car before you ever step a foot on the lot…. That is “Bait and Switch”. They are counting on the fact that you never make it to the bottom of the page. Then they play all the new and old sale tactics to get you to buy. 1) Don’t sit in a chair and give them all your info for a 1/2 an hour before you even see the car. They are getting you to feel like you have time invested in this car. 2) NEVER EVER tell a car dealership what you can afford to pay per month. They will use this info to get you into a car paying more than you wanted to pay for the car. 3) They negotiate and ask you to sign on multiple hand written lines, every time you sign one of these “fake acceptances” they are breaking you down psychologically to sign that last line more easily. 4) They play the waiting game… the longer than get you to sit in the chair the more you feel like you have invested in the process and in the car. They make it painful so you don’t want to go out and do this all over again. 5) They wash the car “just for you” — to make it all pretty and clean— OR do they do that to hide the inconsistencies in the paint, the dings and the scratches? 6) They tell you you can get “FREE” floor mats for two 5 star reviews If you don’t understand how they got to their price - and you think you are getting ripped off somewhere but can’t find it in the numbers and your salesman can’t help you figure it out - yes you are getting ripped off — if your gut tells you something is wrong, it is. — GET UP AND WALK NOW!! We didn’t figure out the shady numbers till the next day because we trusted our salesman. NEVER TRUST YOUR SALESMAN HERE!!!!! Yes, we bought the car. Do we regret it? Yes, whole heartedly. These guys are the guys who give “car salesmen” a bad name. DO NOT BUY HERE at Gurnee Hyundai - a ROHRMAN AUTOMOTIVE GROUP dealership. KEEP READING ALL THE BAD REVIEWS, don’t just take my word for it—— you will notice a pattern shady sales practices. They don’t have a place to leave reviews on their website— they just cherry pick the best ones on Facebook and put them on their website.
