I went into Gurnee Dodge looking for a slightly used Ram 1500. I was met by Brian, who is a fairly new employee there. He was very helpful and I feel he worked hard for me to get me a vehicle in my price 1500. I was met by Brian, who is a fairly new employee there. Brian was extremely personable and friendly, and made no attempt to pressure me into a vehicle I did not want. I actually ended up with a much nicer vehicle than I thought I could afford due to great financing options I did not know existed until I walked in there. This car buying experience has been a nightmare. After being told that I would "not be sold a bad car" and that the Dodge I was looking at had been "fully inspected", I bought the car knowing the shocks n being told that I would "not be sold a bad car" and that the Dodge I was looking at had been "fully inspected", I bought the car knowing the shocks needed to be replaced. Unfortunately within minutes of leaving, my oil light went on and later found out it was a massive oil leak that had been missed by inspection. The oil leak was repaired, or so I thought. The oil light went back on again every time I stopped, the check engine light went on because an O2 sensor just HAPPENED to break the day I pick it up from the shop, and then my battery light went on and what do you know... on day 12, my car broke down at 9:30 pm while I was halfway pulled off the road. Way to go Gurnee Dodge, after years of my family buying Dodge cars from YOUR dealership, we will no longer purchase any Dodge vehicle from anywhere, let alone here. I have let numerous people know about my experience and will continue to let others know. Since I have to obviously buy another car, I will take my business to a much better dealership now. More

There is mixed emotions about my experience at Gurnee Dodge, there were several problems in the beginnig. One of the sales men didn't quite know all the features about the car I had taken for a test dri Dodge, there were several problems in the beginnig. One of the sales men didn't quite know all the features about the car I had taken for a test drive and later purchased that same day. I don't think he did it with intent only he wasn't familar with all of its features, he had told me from the beginning that the car was fully loaded. That it had a navigation system and the u connet. I later found out that there was no navigation system, before buying the car, but that there still was the u connet feature. I when I got home I tried to connet my phone to the u connet only to find out that I didn't have that feature. I was extremely angry, also after lookiing over the contract I found a discrepancy. AT this point all I wanted to do is to return the car and be done with Gurnee Dogde. I took the day off of work on Monday and went back to Gurnee Dodge. I spoke with Mitch Horwitz and and explained to him what was told to me about the navigation system and the u connet. Mitch had promise me that he would make this whole mess better, and not at my cost. He asked me to return to Gurnee and he would install the u connet, I was given a rental for one day. The following day my Jeep had the u connet. Manny Arteaga was very helpful. He took time out to make sure that I was satisfied. He was sorry for all I had gone throught. Than Mike Ballard took time out of his schedule and and explain the whole car to me. We went for a drive he hooked up the u connect. Explain all the features my auto has and even said if I had anymore question do not hesitate to call him and he would help. Mitch made good on his promise and even the discrepancy on the contract. Just bought my third car from Gurnee Dodge in the past year and it was another walk in the park. Bought all three from Mark Ruffolo, but this dealership works great as a team!
