Went in for a to replace defective parts on my 17 Jetta This was a follow up visit to replace defective c pillar covers. Also had them check my unusually high idle and my eating sunroof. After 5 1/2 hours This was a follow up visit to replace defective c pillar covers. Also had them check my unusually high idle and my eating sunroof. After 5 1/2 hours I called them to check the status of my car. After five attempts and getting no one in the service department to answer including the manager. I decided to just go in. When I get there I walk up to my service advisor and I notice that he's playing on his phone. Ok. Great. When I talk to him he hasn't even checked on the status of the cars he's managing. So I go sit and wait per his request. He comes back to tell me it's done (not surprising) and that they are washing it. 5 min later he comes back. Oh it was still parked in the back. Now they are washing it. 5 min later it's done. As I'm checking out I realize that thry replaced the c pillar covers but the sunroof and idle were acting per norm. My car was only driven 1 mile while in their possession. And with the size of their lot. That means they never drove my car off the lot to properly diagnose my rattling sunroof or the rough idle. Which really means that they wasted 5 hours of my day. The absolute WORST experience ever. And sadly this is the norm for Volkswagen. Never will I buy another one of these cars. This service is absolutely unacceptable. I also reached out to the service manager after my service and left a voicemail for him to contact me. And still have not received that phone call. So much for customer service. More
