Candy, we inform every customer ahead of time that there is a diagnostic fee. Please know that in order find out what your vehicle's issue is and complete a proper inspection, our technicians need to connect the car to a diagnostic tool and put it on a lift. Our technicians and team followed procedure accordingly and we ask that even though you may have declined the repair work, we were still able to find out what the cause was as well as provide you with information and solutions for your vehicle's repairs. Again, although you declined the repair work, if you should need any further assistance or information regarding your vehicle's service visit or repair work, we are here to help.

Rick, you initially brought your vehicle to the Coconut Creek location where you were quoted for a one-hour diagnostic fee. Our service team recommended that your vehicle receive an additional diagnosis for the repairs. You declined any further assistance and took your vehicle to an outside independent shop. Your vehicle was then delivered to our Delray Beach location where we had found damages caused by the aftermarket independent shop. Because of the severity of your damages, you were then quoted for a two-hour diagnosis fee which is what your charges were based on. Your first diagnosis was one-hour and the second diagnosis was for two-hours, this is why your bill doubled. If you should have any further questions regarding your service experience or fees, please feel free to reach out to our team.

Customers can always take advantage of Volvo's Certified-PreOwed Warranty, as long as it is redeemed at an authorized Volvo Dealership. Unfortunately, the interior trim pieces are not covered under the CPO Warranty. The CPO Warranty is provided by the manufacturer and we are required to follow in compliance with their terms and conditions. We know that you have invested a lot of time in the process and we understand that you were less than satisfied during your visit. This is purely a vindictive effort at spreading lies. All of the screaming and yelling and cursing happened, but by Laurentiu, not Gunther employees. Laurentiu came to service after hours, only sales was open, he was screaming and yelling, threatening multiple employees of coming back with "friends of his', claiming to be a "friend of the governor", going to "make our life miserable" unless we released his car without paying the service bill. We explained that we cannot and will not release the car without paying the bill, and if he had an issue with the service bill, he could come back the next day during service hours to review with a service manager. From there, all broke loose, told us we will regret this, he called everyone names, threatened employees and their families. He was asked to leave our property, but did not. The police were contacted, and Laurentiu continued his erratic behavior until Delray Beach Police had to escort him out of our property. The official case file is public record. Feel free to look up. Laurentiu was arrested before for fighting and resisting arrest, this behavior seems to be common practice from Mr. Laurentiu Olghii. If you google his name, you will see his mug shot. The whole scene happened in front of 15 people, employees and customers, who will all attest to the same. He is an out of control individual who makes threats when he doesn't get his way. BEWARE of dealing with him, STAY AWAY. Spreading lies against us is simply a vindictive effort in trying to bully us around. We are a family owned and operated business in S. FLA for over 40 years, we service over 25,000 customers a year, unfortunately Mr Olghii didn't and still doesn't understand the terms of his warranty, the balance due is to cover a portion of the labor that his warranty did not cover. To be clear, the bill was $34.50.
