Don't Expect Service Under Warranty to be Completed I leased two Volvo’s from Gunther Volvo and purchased one at the end of the lease. About 9 months ago I brought my car in for 35K service. I asked the service rep Dominique about some rust on the trunk. He said they would take care of it the next time I brought my car in. In April I contacted Dominique to bring in my care for new tires, a recall and to take care of the rust. He e-mailed me back and said he would get back to me. A week passed, I contacted him again, he said he was waiting for Management approval. Another week went by and I contacted hm again. He was still waiting for Management approval. Another week went by, I e-mailed him again and never received a response. On May 21, I contacted Volvo corporate service and explained the situation. I received a response from Shalena and her comment was, Your Warranty Expired Yesterday. Needless to say, I will never service my car at Gunther Volvo or ever purchase a Volvo again. The response from Volvo corporate blew me again. I guess the dealer doesn’t fall fast from the tree. More

Dominick provides excellent service and goes above and beyond. I was not in for awhile as my car is out of warranty and did not have issues. He remembered me and my assistant's name wh and goes above and beyond. I was not in for awhile as my car is out of warranty and did not have issues. The absolute worst car buying experience. They sold my son a lemon and even though we're paying for a warranty, they refuse to diagnose the problem and determine whether or not it's covered by the warran son a lemon and even though we're paying for a warranty, they refuse to diagnose the problem and determine whether or not it's covered by the warranty. The car has been sitting at the dealership for an entire week and I can't get an answer from them. My son has missed all his college classes and and entire week of work. When I call the dealership, they send me straight to voice mail because they know my number. They do the same for my son and my mother. I finally got through to someone today who said "Drew" was speaking to the service manager and would call me back. No call back. After several more attempts I got in touch with the service dept who said that drew was out today and that I needed to speak with Lucas. Of course Lucas was not in either. I'm at my whits end with the lying, the ducking calls, the incompetency. All they have to do is diagnose the car and see if its covered under warranty. OR better yet, determine why they sold my son a faulty car that broke down after 2 DAYS!!! My mechanic told me what is wrong so I'm waiting to see what these jokers come up with. They are scamming an 18 year old kid and I'm furious. Please people, don't go to this dealership. They are very crooked and you'll be terribly disappointed if you get sucked into a contract with these scammers.. More

Very very expensive. Not sure they really did the diagnostic testing they claim they did or just relied on the warning light. Dominick offered good service and follow up.
