I had a frustrating experience at Gunther Volvo Delray. I waited nearly two weeks for a loaner car and had to bring my car back twice because my check engine light wasn't fixed properly the first time. I’ve gone there for 6 years. They always accepted credit cards. Service appt. Monday morning. The cashier said “Well there are signs all over. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHEN i MADE THE APPOINTMENT! This is a deceptive business practice! The young lady who checked me in was very polite and helpful. The service department is good, however this ADDITIONAL SNEAKY FEE is not customer friendly. More

I took my 2019 Volkswagen Jetta in to dear for 40,000 mile service. I requested they check filters and ducts as there is an odor when a/c turned on. this began on the previous day. Long story short paid mile service. I requested they check filters and ducts as there is an odor when a/c turned on. this began on the previous day. Long story short paid $233.92 for service charged for an air filter. Regarding the odor, they suggested an undercarriage car wash. No improvement with the car wash, went to local service center they showed me my filthy and grass filled air filter, replaced it and i paid $ 94.75 for parts and labor and I am very dissatisfied as Gunther has not responded to my concerns and request for credit. i dealt with Andrew Swaby service advisor and he forwarded my concerns to his supervisor Vasilb@untherdelray.com. No follow up . service done on 5/2/24 today is 5/8/24 . Get your car serviced elsewhere. More
