Easiest vehicle purchase ever! I was searching for a new VW (3rd one so far) and I was looking between two different dealerships outside of Jacksonville. The first one I visited to I was searching for a new VW (3rd one so far) and I was looking between two different dealerships outside of Jacksonville. The first one I visited to look at a used GTI the pictures looked great but in person the vehicle was in rough shape. I then decided to look at Fields VW in Daytona. I submitted an application online and Chuck contacted me the same day. He was able to get me solid numbers on a vehicle on Sunday and I then drove down on Monday to pick up my new GTI. I then drove down from Jacksonville and picked up my new car within the hour. This was the fastest time I've ever been in and out of a dealership with all of my vehicle purchases! Terrible service dept, even worse service manager. Service dept is awful here. I have bought 8 new cars over the past 10 years, all makes, this is by far the worst service dept and more so, worst serv Service dept is awful here. I have bought 8 new cars over the past 10 years, all makes, this is by far the worst service dept and more so, worst service manager (Kevin) I have ever had to deal with. Two trips...first simple oil change, made appointment, was told 30-45 min....took two hours and they left oil residue all over the engine cover. I didn't say anything, figured bad day for tech. Went back again for another simple oil change and tire rotation. Again made appointment, told them I needed it done in a timely manner due to work. I was told no problem. It took almost two hours. But that is not the worst part, they damaged my car and Kevin basically made like I made it up and was a lier. I know for a FACT the damage wasn't there before as I keep my cars mint. The service manager Kevin was obnoxious and beyond rude...and this was a manager remember. All the VW Facebook groups said stay away from this place, guess I should have listened. STAY AWAY unless you want your car messed up and to be called a lier by a classless service manager. More
