GREAT DIAGNOSIS - OVERPRICED ESTIMATE Received an estimate for approximately $1,100.00 for a bad EGR valve and throttle body. Could not get my Cadillac checked two days. Running hot. Had to rent a car. Bring the car home and fix myself. It was very inconvenient Had to drive another 200 miles the next day,Friday. Will just call for truck to haul my vehicle home any more and not expect good service. Glad I can do thing myself and try to more in the future. This after two days of being told they would check the car in a little while or by lunch or before they close or soon the techncains where all in the Fram and body shop, etc. I live 60 miles away and had to drive a two hundred the next day to another town. Even the next day, Friday evening still not even checked to see what was wrong . When I got it to my shop and found out the problem in 15 minutes and fixed in 30 minutes once got the part. The scheduler ,Michael was super nice and got me a discount on rental car Thursday evening at 5:50PM . Spoke with the service manager at noon on Thursday and he said would get me a car. Paid $150. For thee days car rental $172 for hauling my Cadillac 60 miles on Saturday and much inconvenience. I was asked if I had been to the dealership before when I first got there Thursday morning. I have been to plenty of GM dealerships for buying and service in the past but no more except for Crest Cadillac in Hoover AL. were I have gotten first class service. Just checked bank account withdrawals and the rental car was a total of $237. I thought I was getting a discount. Folded again. I will try not to depend on a GM dealership again. Just call a tow truck to get me home with my vehicle. Actually my daughter went and got the car diagnosed the problem and had it hauled home and did the main fixing of the vehicle. I just helped her finish the repair once I got off work. I glad I have someone who cares. In talking people in the community I maybe understand why they give this kind of service. They have stated that the dealership only wants to do service on vehicles they have sold. More

The service is always responsive, courteous, thorough, and quick. But what is truly exceptional about this company is their concern for their customers when they are out of town. Last year and on this recent trip, my truck needed repair in Oregon and then New Mexico. Both times I contacted Hembree Chevrolet and told them about the problem. In Oregon, they called the dealer and made sure that my truck was taken care of first thing Monday morning and that I had a loaner. Most recently in New Mexico, the dealership was unfamiliar with my long-term service contract. Again I called Hembree Chevrolet, and they called me back explaining exactly what to do to ensure my repair was covered. When I called GM about the coverage, they told me Ron from Hembree Motors has already called and it was taken care of. When I compare this dealership with others all over the country, they are clearly exceptional in all areas. More
