Cares until you sign on the dotted line. I bought a new Altima in 2010. I had a pleasant buying experience at the point of purchase. I even bought the extra coverage when I financed. Fast for I bought a new Altima in 2010. I had a pleasant buying experience at the point of purchase. I even bought the extra coverage when I financed. Fast forward 8 years, I have taken excellent care of my car, but to look at the roof and trunck, you wouldn’t think so. The paint is faded, peeling, and looks terrible. A garage kept, washed often, pampered car should not look like this. I contacted the dealership today, and they said they didn’t even have records back 8 years and even if they did, the extended coverage for my paint would have ended at 7. They weren’t helpful in the least. They were happy to take my 25,000 eight years ago but aren’t willing to help me now. No car should have paint that looks like this, after only 8 years. Gunn- you were good until I actually had a problem, one that Nissan Corporate wont acknowledge, even though thousands of complaints have been made exactly for the reason I am making one. I mean, you even have your own paint and collision center Gunn. The next purchase I make I am not sure of what it will be, but I am positive it won’t be at a Gunn dealership. What a disappointment in Gunn and Nissan! More
