We feel bad you didn't have a positive experience with us Saturday, so we requested the assistance of the General Manager to review the information you mentioned. He had pulled a KBB report on your vehicle and listed 100% of the options that your vehicle has and reported it in "Very Good" condition and the recommended trade value was $17,222. We offered $16,500 allowing for reconditioning. Additionally, he confirmed the contacts that were made Saturday to Dodge Dealers and all the opinions were consistent with ours. We do understand your frustration and apologize that we couldn't explain the process better. Considering all reported extras, the appraisal we performed was accurate for the mileage and condition of the vehicle. We're glad to hear you had purchased from Gunn previously and had good experiences. Our no haggle approach remains to make the entire process as straightforward as possible and we hope you consider us again. The General Manager, Derrick Alvis, would like an opportunity to speak with you to discuss the matter further if you would like.

I appreciate the response to this review but do not appreciate the fact that you are continuing to avoid the fact that your staff tried and then continued to under value a trade in by 25%. I have run the KBB report as well and have researched this same vehicle throughout the San Antonio area and found it is retailing for an average of $23,900. As far as "reconditioning" I can again point out that your staff barely looked at the car. This car was featured in Mopar Magazine and has no blemishes. Even your new car we were looking at purchasing had 2 wheel hits and paint damage on the edge of the driver door and our trade in has no marks or dings. As far as your staff calling the other dealerships: this is again not true. We watched your staff after I handed them the original window sticker for the car and they made no calls. When we were ready to leave I asked for the window sticker back and they said "it's in your car", I had to tell them that it was sitting on counter right where they had set it when they told us that they would be calling around. The reason I have posted this review is so that other potential customers going into your dealership understand that they need to know the value of their trade in and not trust your staff's practices of appraising vehicles.
