We bought a used car from Grubbs in August. We managed to negotiate that cost down, but still paid around $1500 over sticker when it was all said and done. Fast forward 1 month after purchase and we notice a vibration in the brake peadal. Took it to Firestone and turns out ALL the brakes need replacing to the tune of $1600.00. What are they using that extra $2300.00 for then? To line their pockets, that's what. If you buy a used car from Grubbs, immediately take it for an detailed inspection and take it back to the dealer when you find out everything that is wrong with it so they can fix it or buy it back. If possible I would give 0 stars! I don’t even know where to start but if you’re looking for pre-owned vehicle this is not the place for that! My vehicle that I purchased has been in repairs almost 45 days because they can’t seem to fix things they promised and THEY DO NOT KEEP THEIR WORD! Avoid this dealership if all possible! DONT SIGN UNTIL ALL PROMISED REPAIRS HAVE BEEN FIXED OTHERWISE THEY WILL SEND OFF YOUR PAPERWORK KEEP YOUR CAR AND HAVE YOU IN THEIR LOANERS AS LONG AS THEY PLEASE! The COMMUNICATION IS HORRIBLE AND THEY WILL AVOID YOU AS MUCH AS THEY CAN. They promised they wouldn’t send my paperwork until all repairs were made well guess what they sent in the paperwork I’m stuck in a purchase now and CANNOT GET MY VEHICLE BACK and I wish there was a way to get a hold of Mr.Grubbs so he can know how they treat their customers! Some Passive aggressive people should I add! Anywho STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP THEY ARE NOT EASY TO WORK WITH! I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY VEHICLE! Some significant warranty work was necessary that took several months to complete. At first I was totally frustrated with that process and the rapid change in maintenance staff at your facility. That was before I realized the true impact of Climate Change on the lives of working people, especially those in the service industry. Maintenance is a difficult job and everyone thinks there job should be first priority. I respect those who continue to work long hours and do their best under time and cost constraints that are difficult to control. More
