Mr. Standard went above and beyond to insure that I knew exactly what was happening step by step. I was impressed by his professionalism, charisma, and his authenticity. I will recommend this dealership and more specifically, Mr. Standard, to any and everyone. More

I recently purchased a used Acura MDX from this Grubbs Acura dealership. I signed all the papers on Saturday late evening, and they didn’t ask me for the payment, and they promised me that they will deliv Acura dealership. I signed all the papers on Saturday late evening, and they didn’t ask me for the payment, and they promised me that they will deliver the car on next week Wednesday after 3 step verification (for which they are charging $2500). Meanwhile they started the loan process, so thought that I have to clear all payments on Wednesday before receiving car. I called Dealership on Wednesday to know the delivery time and I got shocked with their statement. They sold the car to other customer on Tuesday. And again, I went to Dealership on Thursday to collect all my signed documents. But they apologized and offered me other used MDX. And I paid the advance amount on the same day and they started the loan process, they included $2500 for 3 step verification. After two days I picked up the car from the dealership and headed to home. But on the way I got some knocking sounds from front left tire, immediately I headed back to dealership. After investigation, they found out its major issue and ordered the parts. They covered the charges for this repair with my warranty vendor (I paid $4500 for car warranty since it is used card). After one month, they updated me that the service is done and I can pick up the car, now I found out the door handle got broken and car is vibrating when I apply break. Really very disappointed with this dealership and suggesting all of not go to this Dealer. 1. They sold the car which I already signed 2. They covered the service charges for car which I am yet to take. 3. They charged $2500 for 3 step verification, but just they did car wash, no other checks were done. Exactly after 50 days, I got Transmission System Problem and Blind Spot Info System Problem. Please find attached pics as proof. Now I regret myself for buying the car from Grubbs Acura. And my sincere suggestion would is, don’t go with Grubbs Acura for used cars, if you buy any used card from this dealership, you will definitely regret like me. More
Acura should pull their franchise, as this is one of the shadiest dealers I've dealt with in 40 years of car buying. Absolutely don't bother, they try old school high pressure tactics, try to charge for 'c shadiest dealers I've dealt with in 40 years of car buying. Absolutely don't bother, they try old school high pressure tactics, try to charge for 'certifying' and "activating" a CPO warranty. They won't do business over the web, which is how I purchased a 3 Acura vehicles I currently own. If interested in an Acura, go to Goodson or Park Place, where they will give you a price and that's that. I should have known better but as Grubbs was only 15 minutes from home, figured I'd give them a shot....4 hours of my life I won't get back. In contrast, both Goodson and Park Palce, we agreed on price over email/phone, walked into dealership to sign paperwork, in/out in about an hour....Grubbs wouldn't even take a deposit over the phone. If I were Acura Corporate I'd pull Grubbs from their dealership list, as they don't represent the brand well and treat customers very poorly. Don't waste your time with this scam of a dealership! If you're going to sell a vehicle to this dealership save the trouble and sell to someone else. Been waiting almost a full month and have yet to get a check for my vehicle. I was told I would get a check in the trouble and sell to someone else. Been waiting almost a full month and have yet to get a check for my vehicle. I was told I would get a check in a week and over three weeks later still no check. When I spoke to manager he said it takes 14 days from the time they pay off my vehicle for them to get a title and then they cut a check. They paid off vehicle almost immediately after I sold them the vehicle and sign all paper work. Have had zero communication as to when my check will be mailed. If this is the way they do business when buying a vehicle from a consumer, I can only imagine the headache you will have when buying one from them. I'm currently in the process of buying another Acura but will not be with them. More
My husband and I recently "purchased" a used Acura MDX from this dealership. We paid for the car in its entirety upfront with a personal check which was cashed within 24 hours of us writing it, and signed from this dealership. We paid for the car in its entirety upfront with a personal check which was cashed within 24 hours of us writing it, and signed all the paperwork. 3 weeks later, they let us know the repairs that were agreed upon were completed and they made an appointment for us to pick up the car. My husband arrives to find they auctioned the car off, the car for which we HAVE ALREADY PAID, signed all the paperwork, and added to our insurance in anticipation of taking possession of the vehicle at this appointment they set. But wait, they have a similar make/model that he can get for the same price that we've already paid. Then, suddenly, it's going to be just another 1k more. Then it's 2k more. After 3 hours of them continuing to mislead and promise they're going to "make it right," my husband informs them he wants a full refund now. Apparently, they can't make that happen. It will be 5-7 days because they have to talk to accounting. So they have had thousands of dollars for a month and we have neither the car nor our money back as of now. This is the most unprofessional and dishonest experience we have ever encountered while buying a vehicle. More
Friendly people but poor overall experience. Vehicle was not as clean as expected and then had BIG surprise when salesperson presented numbers which included $2495 up charge for “dealer fee” and Vehicle was not as clean as expected and then had BIG surprise when salesperson presented numbers which included $2495 up charge for “dealer fee” and another $2495 to activate the Acura certification. Totally bogus charges that added nearly $5K to the price listed on website! They eventually dropped price $3K and even offered another $1K reduction as I was heading out the door. Felt like very sleazy sales process and would never return to this dealership. BTW, bought a certified MDX from another DFW Acura dealer the next day for the price advertised on their website with no added dealer charges! More
High pressure salesmanship, add-on fees, constant numbers manipulation and fatigue made my experience less than satisfactory. After test driving a used 2019 Acura RDX, we started talking numbers. Along wi manipulation and fatigue made my experience less than satisfactory. After test driving a used 2019 Acura RDX, we started talking numbers. Along with the advertised price, I was shown an additional $2500 for "detailing" and $2500 for "CPO warranty". However, the listing said the warranty was "included". After stating I didn't want to pay the extra fees, they removed the "CPO" fee and said other dealers would charge for the "detailing" fee too. I expressed I didn’t want to pay the fees, and I wanted to look at another vehicle at a neighboring dealership with a higher trim package. They then added more pressure to keep me from leaving the showed me a fully loaded 2022 RDX and quoted me a price. Later they added fees on top of the price I was so burnt out from the multiple rounds of number crunching mind games, I reluctantly decided to move forward with the 2022 RDX. Add the additional pressure during the financing process, I was too exhausted to make sense of any of it. Assessing everything over the next few days, I essentially paid the advertised price for the 2022 plus an additional $2500-$3000. Moral of the story: don't feel pressured into making decisions on the spot. Walk out and think things over with a clear head. I will never do business this way again. More
Extremely bad customer service! Their employee, Fred Jones, created a scene in front of my elderly Dad when we were trying to buy an Acura Integra. His manager, Al Lewis approached Their employee, Fred Jones, created a scene in front of my elderly Dad when we were trying to buy an Acura Integra. His manager, Al Lewis approached and took me to one of the office rooms to address my concerns. He said he would call back, but never did. This experience and salesperson's attitude was extremely unacceptable so I wrote a personal letter to the GM, Jacob Taylor so they could investigate and improve their customer service. I sent a complaint letter via mail and email back in January 2023. I followed up with another email and phone calls this week; however, no response from anyone. Their website boasts about great customer service and business being family owned. The reality of the matter is contrary. Some may have had different experience, but mine was totally unacceptable. I don't know how much they care about their service, especially carrying a luxury brand like Acura, but never going back there nor recommending to my friends and family since I am a former combat veteran. One bad experience is too many since there are several other dealers with better services! Be careful how/where you do your business as this dealer is absolutely at the bottom of the barrel for me! I hope the the family generation that is managing this business looks into it and trains or takes actions on its employees, including management team who have no regard for their customers! Be careful friends! More
