After his death we took the car to another mechanic only to find that Groove had been using incorrect part and unsafe techniques in their work. Incorrect hoses were used and gaskets were broken from improper fittings and connections. Things were repaired in consistently lazy rip shod manners throughout the vehicle. We also looked into his repair records and found that he was also consistently over-charged and misled about his repairs. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Luckily no one was hurt, but their cavalier attitude and low standards could have easily caused more than just financial pain. More
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE Bought a vehicle from this place a few weeks ago, since we purchased the vehicle, we can't get a hold of anyone. I emailed the finance guy with a que Bought a vehicle from this place a few weeks ago, since we purchased the vehicle, we can't get a hold of anyone. I emailed the finance guy with a question we had, he never responded. We called several times and were transferred to voicemail 5 times, even after requesting to be transferred to a live person. When we finally did get a hold of someone regarding a question we had, he was rude and did not seem concerned because he was not working with us on the sale. We did not get a response until we drove 45 minutes back down to the location and showed up in person. I've emailed the regional manager, with no response. I expect more from a regional manager. The vehicle was supposedly detailed TWICE and still had soda pop, dirt on the console & dog hair all over the back seats, so bad that we had to get it professionally cleaned ourselves! Not cool. I feel like it was blue skies and fluffy clouds until you sign the paperwork. Once you sign the paperwork, you're just a worthless annoying customer. After being lied to, ignored, and mistreated, I'll never shop here again. We would've returned the car and eaten the $400 restocking fee if it wasnt the best choice out of the 5 in Colorado. Bad bad business ethics. More
This is now the second time I went to Groove to check out new cars. I had bought a 2010 Rav4 last summer for my girlfriend that works awesome and she loves it! I had a 2012 Toyota Corolla that I was leasing new cars. I had bought a 2010 Rav4 last summer for my girlfriend that works awesome and she loves it! I had a 2012 Toyota Corolla that I was leasing and wanted to trade it in for a new car lease. Nic Kirk of Groove is the main reason I have gone back to this particular Toyota Dealer. I had been to Groove with a different salesman to look at Tacoma's but he was very disinterested in making a deal with me. I also stopped by another dealership to see what deals they would give me (Stevenson West Toyota-DO NOT GO) and once again the salesman didn't even try to negotiate and they made me wait 45 minutes to talk to someone when I asked more than once to be helped. Nic Kirk of Groove had worked with me over the summer with the Rav4 and we made a deal that I did not think we could do in our price range but the price made both parties happy (at least my side was). When going back last week to upgrade my little Corolla to a Camry I was treated fairly with Nic and he worked with me to try and raise my value of the car. The only person I was NOT fond of during the transaction was the manager. He was rude and said things that a true businessman should not. Customer satisfaction is number 1 in my industry. Honestly if it wasn't for Nic bugging the xxxx outa him we wouldn't have made a good deal. I worked with Groove for three days and finally a great deal was made that we could afford for the new 2014 Camry. I gotta say that the car is incredible and fun to drive. The space was a huge change due to my size at 6ft tall. I'm not a big fan of Groove and other dealerships in the area, but the reason I come back to Groove is honestly for the salesman Nic Kirk. He's a down to earth guy that does not pressure at all. Also, he's a very friendly guy that says how things are. We had Nic going back and forth with that manager for at least a total of 5 hours during that three day period. I'm excited to be driving a new car! -K More
First off, the efforts made by Patrick Shannon were great. He was straight forward, drove the car I was interested in to my house, and answered every question I had in a professional straight forward great. He was straight forward, drove the car I was interested in to my house, and answered every question I had in a professional straight forward manner. IF (Buyer Beware) you go to Groove Toyota pick him to be your salesman. He will shoot straight with you. The Sales Manager Taylor Scott is a different story. They will significantly under value your trade. NADA valued my TRADE IN at $28,875. The swindlers offered 26,000. When I tried to negotiate they offered 27,000. Keep in mind the resale value is 32,300. Trade in values are already low, but this place pushes the limit further. The car I wanted was also jacked 2500 over NADA retail value. They dropped $1000 dollars which made it 1500 over, but would not budge because they inched closer to the actual trade in value on my trade. I understand that they want to make as much money as possible. We all do, but dont expect an honest value from this place!!! You will be in the hole as soon as you walk out the door. 4 hours I cant get back. Thanks again Patrick for all your efforts More
We came into the dealership thinking we wanted to buy a used car, but after hearing about the Highlander and the benefits of leasing, we were sold. We loved the idea of Toyota Care as well. I walked into Groove Toyota and immediately I was greeted with a friendly smile. Being rather young, some dealerships overlook you as a potential customer and think you are there with your parents, grandpar with a friendly smile. Being rather young, some dealerships overlook you as a potential customer and think you are there with your parents, grandparents, etc. Looking around, I had multiple staff members say hello and ask if I needed anything making me feel at home before I could sit down. Daniel Traurig was appointed to take care of me and instantly offered me refreshments which I accepted. Daniel then assisted me and kept in touch with me in regards to finding the 4Runner that would suit me and my wallet. I looked at a few 4runners, and they were out of my price range, but rather than wish me a good day, we exchanged numbers and I was notified every time a new 4runner came onto their lot, which was convenient seeing I am busy 7 days a week. I finally found a 4runner in my price range and he treated my like royalty, allowing me to borrow the car so I could get back to school on time and have a ride back to the dealership afterwards along with getting a true feel for the vehicle. Daniel was very patient and friendly. Unfortunately Daniel had to attend to family matters which is completely acceptable and handed me off to his trusted colleague Chad Leach who gave me the same treatment. We negotiated a price and when it came down to the final numbers, they gave me a VERY fair deal and worked with me to achieve the car and price I desired to have. When doing the paperwork, Lee Cook took care of me. He as well was friendly and helped me out giving off a southern homeliness sort of feel. The deal was all said and done, but I couldn't get my car until the next day because they were going to fix something on the vehicle. The next day I got off from college and they picked me up from school!! Thats the royal treatment right there! I arrived at the dealership and all of the staff members I had worked with came by to see how I was and how school went and even remembered my nickname that I had told them about. I was handed my keys and out the door with my 2008 4runner with many goodbyes as I exited. They as a team were very professional and relaxed. Most importantly, they did NOT pressure me into buying a car. They truly wanted to find the 4runner that suited every aspect of me and succeeded. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying a Toyota and leaving with a smile on their face. Thank you again Groove. you ROCK! More

Had to buy a vehicle, because an arthritic hip was making it difficult to use the manual shift in my truck. I absolutely DREADED the prospect of the usual dealership experience: high-pressure salespeople, it difficult to use the manual shift in my truck. I absolutely DREADED the prospect of the usual dealership experience: high-pressure salespeople, the back-and-forth game of negotiating, and the devious tactics employed by the finance department of adding onto your already agreed-upon purchase/trade-in deal. I contacted Groove Toyota because my internet search showed them as the only dealership in over 100 miles that offered a 2012 RAV4 in the Pacific Blue color that I wanted. Well, Groove Toyota proved themselves to me as an anomaly in the sea of car dealerships. We handled most of the transactions via email, phone and text. I made an offer on a new RAV 4 with my 2007 Tacoma as a trade-in. My offer was accepted, the dealership sent a Purchase Order to my credit union the next day, and I had a check in-hand for the car. The salesman, Kevin Bonds, even offered to drive the 50+ miles south to my location ON HIS DAY OFF in order to complete the transaction without my having to drive up to the Denver area. WOW!!! Customer service is lacking in almost all businesses these days, but it is certianly alive, well and THRIVING at Groove Toyota! Kevin, his boss Brendon Carlson and the Finance Manager all actually listened, were very straight-forward, low key and yet extremely efficient. As I had business in Denver, I ended up driving up to Groove Toyota to complete the purchase/trade-in deal. I asked Kevin to have the paperwork ready in hopes of soemwhat reducing the usual 6 hours one has to spend at a dealership to close. I WAS ONLY THERE FOR 1.5 HOURS before driving home in my brand new car!!!! I do hope I don't have to buy another car again, but if I do, I would certainly make the 58 mile drive up to Groove Toyota. Hands-down, this was the smoothest, easiest car purchase EVER and I'm glad that I can trust Groove Toyota to be honest and fair while providing superior customer service. Kevin Bonds should give salesmanship and customer service lessons to the folks at Toyota of Colorado Springs! More
CJ was my agent, and he was very knowledgeable and professional and nice. I felt a genuinie integrity from him, unlike most car salesmen I have encountered. I bought a 2008 Prius as a surprise for my professional and nice. I felt a genuinie integrity from him, unlike most car salesmen I have encountered. I bought a 2008 Prius as a surprise for my daughter's 21st birthday. I think he got as much enjoyment out of it as I did! He took the time to answer all my questions, show me ALL about the car, and was even available when I worked with Julie in finance, who by the way, was also terrific. She knows her stuff! And she got me a better interest rate than was originally quoted!! I left feeling like I had known CJ and Julie for awhile. I recommend them both. More
