David Coates is an extremely poor representative. He did not reply to my texts while waiting or return my call after my service on Jan 12th and today is Jan 16th. He gave me wrong info re:my battery service and I had to purchase a new battery the next day from another vendor because it was most likely damaged during the battery service performed at Groove. I’m very disappointed. I have serviced my car at Groove since I purchased it in 2013 and am unsure I will return for future service. More

My experience with Groove Subaru started fast and hard in September when my car started smoking. I brought my car in when I first started noticing it and was able to get an appointment with Haley. The servic September when my car started smoking. I brought my car in when I first started noticing it and was able to get an appointment with Haley. The service center wasn't able to find the root of the problem and I got my car back. The smoking happened again and I was able to get videos of them to send them to Haley. She was able to get me in again and looked at. A day or two later, we figured out that the head gasket needed to be replaced. Haley helped get me into a rental car so that the repair wouldn't take away too much from my day to day life. I got my car back a couple of days later, and it seemed to have fixed the problem. A couple of days later, the car started smoking again and I had to bring it back into the shop right away. Haley was able to get it in for me again and get me a rental car again. We found out that day that the engine was cracked and that I would need to replace the entire engine. Haley went above and beyond to help me with this issue and helped me in every way possible that she could. She called SOA to assist me, she got me into a rental car and did everything she could to help with numbers. After getting my car back again, there was an exhaust smell coming in through my vents that I tried to figure out a couple of times with Groove, but they were never able to figure out the root of the problem. Haley was out of town, but I was persistent that something was wrong. I got a service advisor that told me the smell I was getting in the vents was completely normal and that he couldn't help me any longer with anything. Even though they said it was normal, I brought it into Heuberger down in the springs because I knew that what I was smelling wasn't normal. They were able to get it checked out and found out that The EGR valve nuts were missing causing exhaust gases to be present in the engine bay. After contacting Haley about the issue they found, probably resulting from everything in my car being replaced, that was she called them right away and paid for the diagnostic and service to be preformed on my car. Having all of these issues with my car has been extremely exhausting on a lot of things, especially through the holidays where family depends on me having a car. Haley was more than your average service advisor who gets you in and out in as little time as possible. She took the time to listen to me and hear my concerns. Even at times when there was what seemed to be no issues (the car smoking, but they didn't see it) she always got me in right away, got me into a rental car and communicated endlessly to make sure that I was comfortable with next steps and moving forward. I couldn't have gotten through the last five months without her help. I also through this whole experience, was able to explain my concerns with Rachide who was able to talk me through somethings that were going on, and truly empathize with the issues that were going on. More
