Buy your next car from him! I had my eye on two different WRXs. One at Shortline and one at Groove. Cliff researched the other car and beat the price! The financing was quick too! THEN I had some regular maintenance issues and he came to the service department, talked with his people, and got me a temp car and I was on my way! Now that is customer service! I will continue to buy my cars from him. Couldn't be happier with the screaming deal I got and, sometimes more importantly, his customer service! Thanks Cliff!! More
Bought my first car from Cliff Cannot recommend Cliff Jacobsen highly enough - he's the internet manager at Groove Subaru and made this whole process a breeze. The first numbers we looked at when I went in were different than what we had discussed over phone/email - Cliff got it fixed immediately with no hassle. Never felt overly pressured or like I was being taken. First time buying a new car - if Cliff's still there when I'm ready for another one I know where I'll be going. More
Excellent Sales Process with Great Staff! I leased a 2015 Subaru Outback yesterday with Dan Cassin as my Sales Associate and Moe as my Finance Manager. This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased with Groove Subaru in about 2 years. Not only have I been so pleased with my Subaru, I have been exceptionally pleased with the customer service I have received from everyone at the dealership consistently. Dan Cassin and I worked primarily via e-mail. I sent him a general description of what I was looking for in a vehicle and basically relied on him to pick out the Outback for me! He paid attention to my needs and definitely exceeded my expectations. Moe was a great finance manager as well. Very pleasant and funny and helped me get everything wrapped up quickly. All in all - my time spent in the dealership was less than 90 minutes total. Once again, a fantastic job from Groove Subaru and I look forward to our continued business! Thank you Dan and Moe! More
New Forester at Groove I checked out the Groove Subaru lot on S. Broadway, Denver, CO on a Sunday, primarily to look at the Crosstrek, but found a Forester that fit my needs I checked out the Groove Subaru lot on S. Broadway, Denver, CO on a Sunday, primarily to look at the Crosstrek, but found a Forester that fit my needs perfectly. A 2015, no less, but with some hail damage. I drove it and signed a contract 2 days later. In a weeks time it was repaired and I had a brand new vehicle with a good maintenance contract for about what I expected to pay for a used one with about 20K miles. I am getting over 30 MPG and drive the steep grades between Idaho Springs and Denver at least twice a week. I also have the luxury of AWD/4WD at my discretion this coming winter. Happy? Yeah. More
Great experience purchasing used Subaru Outback with Johnny We purchased our pre-owned Subaru Outback with Johnny in July of 2014. Johnny was very friendly, helpful, and receptive to our needs. This being my first used car buying experience I was somewhat apprehensive going in but Johnny was the opposite of your typical "used car salesman." I would recommend Groove Subaru to my family and friends. More

Ruined my car During my horrible 3 year experience with Groove Subaru. I have had to fight tooth and nail for them to fix a repair job that went bad. They will not During my horrible 3 year experience with Groove Subaru. I have had to fight tooth and nail for them to fix a repair job that went bad. They will not fix it. They will not answer my phone calls. SHAME ON THEM. They will not admit they ruined my 2004 Outback. First off, Groove maintained my car beginning of 2004 from mile 25082,invoice# 208508. They replaced the valve cover gaskets at 48,878 miles, invoice 245196. At 104,000 they leaked again due to poor service of not honing the metal on the heads. At 104,000 miles invoice# 144128 . Then they replaced the timing belt and idler pulleys and fuel pump and water pump. Then they said my center differential was bad. I didn't think so. Because I had not experienced any problems with turning and driving the car. But, I let them do it anyway. I wanted to see the parts but they threw them away and couldn't show me. OOps they said. The first day, the first intersection that I drove after they made the repairs my car experienced problems of a bad differential. I took it back after 3 blocks of driving it and they wanted me to pay another $385.00 to look at it again. I just paid $2095.41!!! I just drove it off the lot!! After 23 hours of another dealers time to investigate my car the problem is still there, Groove ruined my car. These people are not trust worthy. They made my car NOT safe for my family to drive it. I try not to put my kids in this car any longer if I can't help it. If you have a problem with their service they will delay you so your warranty time goes away then they don't have to help you. This type of bad service goes all the way to top with the General Manager Robert. Groove Subaru is dodging the fact they wouldn't return my phone calls and assist me.. I waited another 7 months to resolve this. I have limped my car along another 40,000 miles since the original problem occurred . Since this problem came about the power transfer issue is now affecting my motor. This car has operated in an unsafe manner since they worked on it. We can't leave the metro area any longer with this car. It is very shameful the way Groove Subaru is not telling the truth on this matter. I was a nice guy. I tried to be patient and wait for them to call me. I am Truly amazed that a dealer can get away with this kind bad service. They ruined my car. Period. Flat Irons Subaru agrees with me that something bad happened to the repair Groove subaru did. They couldn't figure out how to fix it after 23 hours of work. Flat Iron subaru even sent my car diagnostics to Subaru of America. It is really sad that GM of Groove is not telling the truth in this matter. I will stand behind my retelling of these events. BIG companies like Groove shouldn't get away with the type of service. Therefore I cannot mark the resolved box. There is no honor in what the GM of Groove is saying. Very sad. He returned one phone call when Flat Irons was assisting me. When Flat Irons couldn't fix the problem Groove would no longer return my calls. When the car needed to go back to Groove GM Robert would not answer my phone calls. His untruths on this matter is shameful. More

I brought my WRX in to find out why my right front tire was wearing different than the other tires and a noise was coming from that tire/wheel. I was told my 2010 WRX needed over 1800.00 in front end repa was wearing different than the other tires and a noise was coming from that tire/wheel. I was told my 2010 WRX needed over 1800.00 in front end repairs including bearing and cone replacement. I decided to get a second opinion and when I took it to a local repair shop (Ralphs) they informed me that the problem was that the tire in question was flat. I couldn't tell because they are blizzak run flat tires and you can't tell by looking at them and for the most part the car handles fine. I was charged $158.00 for repair, rotation and alignment..Thank you Ralph's for being an outstanding service shop. Hard to believe, car is working great and I will bad mouth this place every chance I get. I own a large company in the area and I amazed that places like this still exist..hopefully not for long. Still Bitter after all these years......I purchased my used Subaru from this dealership back in 2003 when it was Burt Subaru. I was then a struggling nursing student, commuting all over the city for clini used Subaru from this dealership back in 2003 when it was Burt Subaru. I was then a struggling nursing student, commuting all over the city for clinicals. My car had died so I was under pressure to purchase a used car fast. I was taken in by salesperson Kristian Lee, who verbally spoke about throwing in extras-like a dog divider for the back. After putting my entire meager savings down on the car and being worked through the finance department I felt a little pushed into taking the car off the lot. I did think the finance kinks were worked out, and I took the car home. A day later, while at my weekend job I received a call from Kristian that my warranty could not be financed and he asked that I put down some additional money. What???? After conferring with my workmates, I decided I ought to take the car back to him and told him just that. I said I'd bring the car back to him at the end of my workday. Lo and behold he calls me back to let me know the news that not only was the warranty financed, but my payments would be $40.00 less per month. I found that exchange to be strange. Now that I'm older, as is my car, I look back at my file folder of car upkeep, and I see that I was young and naive, and I'd been "had" by Burt Subaru. Over the years this company sent out "recall" notices as "precautionary measures" in order to generate business. One in particular was notice #WWP-99, recommending that a special conditioner be added to the engine cooling system. As a young car owner I fell for it, but looking back at the paperwork now, I see it as a ploy to get car owners in to the service station. Most recalls are covered at no charge-this one required a $100.00 payment to flush the system. I see now that it was worded to scare the consumer into thinking if action was taken it would extend the warranty coverage for 8 years. They didn't extend my warranty!!!! I was once having my oil changed there (before I caught on to the inflated price of service), and one of their service team members told me that most of the guys that work there would sell their own mothers down the river. I believed that. I quit taking my car in for service after I found a decent & honest Subaru mechanic. I would recommend calling around to price shop before you take your Subaru into this service department at Groove. The same managers are still employed there-same people-different name. Due to my lack of car buying knowledge, my desperation, and lack of time to check things out, I was taken advantage of by this dealership. I paid $2000.00 more than the Kelly blue book price, and the finance charges were over $4000.00. In essence I paid 6K more than the car was worth, and I didn't get full disclosure of the car's previous body damage. There was no transparency, and I was promised small things that were never delivered. If you're buying a car and you must finance it I would try a credit union or a family friend before you deal with this finance department. Seek repairs elsewhere. I should have strong-armed Kristian Lee into giving me the dog divider that he promised. Back then I was preoccupied and uninformed, but I'm a lot wiser now. I serve as a warning to help others avoid the financial misfortune I've encountered at Burt-which is now Groove. More
