Made an appt for 10 A. M. for an Oil Change, Tire Rotation, and 2 Front Shocks replaced under warranty. Called at 3:30 to check on the status. Not going to be able to ser M. for an Oil Change, Tire Rotation, and 2 Front Shocks replaced under warranty. Called at 3:30 to check on the status. Not going to be able to service your vehicle today, we will try tomorrow.. What is the point in making an appt then. Left me vehicle there for basically the whole day for nothing to be done to it. I rarely ever use Grogan Towne because this place is horrible every time I go here. But I thought, Oh they cant really mess this up. Well I was wrong again. Not 1 time have I had a good experience here. More
I was having a intermittent starting issue with my 2008 Dodge 1500 Pickup that I couldn't figure out, I replaced the Starter and the ignition switch and the problem remained. I made an appointment for the Dodge 1500 Pickup that I couldn't figure out, I replaced the Starter and the ignition switch and the problem remained. I made an appointment for the 12th of July and included what I had already tried to fix the issue in the notes section. I didn't hear anthing that day so texted and they said they couldn't find the problem, the Master tech would look at it the next day. I checked back the next day and was told they got the problem to happen and they opened a case with the Chrysler engineering dept. I didn't hear anything the next day so on Friday the 15th I texted and they said they still couldn't find the problem and they had sent a scan report to Chrysler (whatever that means). On July 21st I had enough and told them I was coming the next day to pick up my vehicle and pay them whatever I owed. I was told that the tech could get the vehicle to start when the problem accured by hitting the starter with a hammer and that it needed replaced because it was drawing to much power. They didn't do a basic load test on the starting system for over a week? OMG. After paying $175.00 for the diagnostics and picking up my vehicle I noticed that they had unplugged the wiring for the dashcam and rear camera in my vehicle. It's wired with the radio to go off after the key is removed and the driver door is opened. I checked the SD card and during off hours they had left the ignition on in the shop so the camera would keep running in a loop and overwrite any video that had been recorded. 18 hours of recording pointing at a wall. A half a tank of gas was used but I didn't remeber the mileage, It was in for a starting problem not a drivability issue. Stay away from the service department at Grogans. Thanks Dave. More
I guess the problems at Grogan's Towne aren't really Grogan's Towne, they are Chrysler. Chrysler makes poor quality products, that break down, constantly, and cost a lot of money to fix. When fixed, t Grogan's Towne, they are Chrysler. Chrysler makes poor quality products, that break down, constantly, and cost a lot of money to fix. When fixed, they continue to break down, because the parts used to fix them are poor quality, as well. The first battery in my brand new Chrysler only lasted two years. That one was replaced under warranty. The second one only lasted three years, but they only offer a two year warranty, so they wanted to charge over $400 for a battery that would only be warranted for two years. ($400 included the labor and a charging system check that was totally unnecessary, as I knew that the battery was the problem, and I'm no mechanic.) Needless to say, I got a better battery, cheaper, somewhere else, and they installed it for FREE. The new battery has a three year warranty, so if it dies as fast as the last two original Chrysler batteries, it will be replaced under warranty, and won't cost me anything other than the time to take it to be repaired. This isn't the first time I've had issues with the quality of my brand new Chrysler. My husband also owns a new Chrysler, and has had issues with it (not even 10,000 miles on his vehicle at this point), and I have had continuous issues with the dealership service department. They don't keep in contact with you to let you know the status of the repair, and if you tell them you need it by a certain time, good luck. More likely than not, you won't have it back in time. Don't schedule your appointment on a day when you have other commitments. You will be late for, or not be able to make them. Now, with COVID, they aren't even offering a courtesy shuttle. If you have my car in for service, how do you think I'm going to get home, or get back to the dealership to pick it up? Poor communication from the service department, and when you do get your vehicle back, you don't speak to the person who worked on your vehicle. You go the cashier and pay for the work, and then they have someone pull your vehicle around. No one answers your questions, or explains what work was done. Read your slip from the cashier carefully, but don't expect to be able to ask any questions, because the service department employees are ALWAYS on the phone when you arrive, and they will pretend you aren't standing there and they won't talk to you or answer any questions about your service. Horrible. Just horrible. He has done nothing. but give us the run around. We make appointments for a pull change we get there early and we were still waiting 2 hours later. They sub contract cars out to be f the run around. We make appointments for a pull change we get there early and we were still waiting 2 hours later. They sub contract cars out to be fixed and our car is gone for at least 2 weeks each time. It's a complete ordeal to get a rental. We have been without a car for a week now and he says it's not his problem it's GM's. No...when you subcontract out its YOUR JOB to make sure they are doing their job. This place and the way he runs his department is a joke. More

The woman that makes the service appointments is a horrible person I hope some day she gets to experience a loss and gets treated the same way she treated me. I am out of state because a family member is dying and my car breaks down. This is a lot of stress for a person but they could care less at this dealership. I called and asked to speak with the service manager who would never even answer the phone. I was disconnected several times and was transferred to another manager, guess what he did not care either. I was told someone would call me back but they never bothered. They defiantly do not go out of their way to help someone. I called another jeep dealer and they could not make promises but they at least had some compassion and offered to at least run diagnostics on the car to see if it was okay to drive in the meantime. If you have a choice don't choose this place. More

Complete SCAM, lied right to my face! After waiting over a week for a service appointment for an issue with a severe wobble in the front end that left us fearing the safety of our lives i After waiting over a week for a service appointment for an issue with a severe wobble in the front end that left us fearing the safety of our lives if we drove the vehicle, we were informed by the service employee that it is a well known issue with Jeep/Chrysler. So well known that it has a name, "Death Wobble". "Quick minor fix", they said. A couple hours later Jeep is fixed and picked up. Upon review of the paperwork given to us we noticed a vehicle inspection sheet that clearly had several issues marked as needing immediate attention. Apparently they only do repairs that fix the main issue, not the problems that are a result of said issue, even though or possibly because it's "warranty work". Will take it elsewhere for follow up. Sent Jeep back to Grogan's Towne for insurance claim body work thinking it's a simple repair, surely they can handle that. Wrong! This time we went over the vehicle before signing any paperwork. The work was not complete, parts were not replaced. When we inquired about the problems we were told the parts were still "good" so they didn't replace them. But the paperwork said they were replaced. "Oh, we have the new parts right here for you", said Don Davies, body shop manager. "We were just going to give them to you and let you replace them", he said. I informed him that our insurance was not only billed for the parts but for the labor too, so, "yes" I want them installed. When asked about the other portion of the repair he refused to perform that service and said he would speak with our adjuster regarding that service. Don Davies assured us that he had left a note on our bill for the cashier to inform us of these issues, however, when we spoke with the cashier (Jayne) she produced all the paperwork she was given and there were no "notes" attached to anything or any notice that old parts were used. The lie I believe was to cover the fact that they had tried to scam our insurance company with bogus claims for new parts and labor that were never installed. If we had not requested to look at the repairs before signing the check I'm sure those new parts would have been sold to the next gullible customer. Consumers beware, mark the parts to be replaced and check them before signing for anything. Even what you think are reputable dealers will try to scam you. This is twice our vehicle was into this dealer and that "car wash" you get for free with every service never happened either. More
