We were at the end of our lease so we needed to find our next vehicle fast. Ideally we were hoping to find a Town and Country that was a few years old with lower miles. Our budget was tight, so even though Grogan’s Towne was over an hour away from us, they had a van that looked like a good deal so we decided to make the trip. We are so glad we did. Although the vehicle we originally saw online had already been sold, John Byrne went to work to find us another that met our criteria and that we could afford. When that process took longer than we hoped and our lease car had to be turned in, he loaned us a car off the lot to use! John and his associate, Todd Kauffman, searched high and low and ultimately found us a van that was in great shape, had low miles, and that we could afford—a used car buyer’s dream. I’ll admit that I usually hate just everything to do with leasing or buying cars. I hate the struggle to stay within the family’s budget and still find a vehicle that will be reliable and comfortable. I especially hate the feeling of having to be on guard against potentially dishonest or manipulative salespeople. At Grogan’s Towne, however, each person with whom we interacted gave us outstanding service—FAR beyond anything we expected. Even people who weren’t directly involved with our sale were very friendly and helpful (thanks, Chris Aughney!). Rather than having to be on guard, we felt we had experts in our corner who were working in our best interests. It was a completely different car-buying experience, and we know we will be back to Grogan’s Towne for all our future vehicles. More

Nice experience with buying uses van Found a van that we liked that was posted online that haven't even hit their lot yet. Without saying anything they gave me the keys and threw a plate on it and told me to take it for a spin and check it out. They made it very easy with prices hard to beat for a certified vehicle. They were even able to start the buying process by phone so I didn't have to sit in the dealership for hours. I was in and out. More

Long version: I had been looking online at used cars and schedules a couple visits with other dealerships that turned into a intimidation tactic most of the time with statements of, "I've got someone else calling about it." or "at this price I'm not sure how long it will last." When I went to look at a couple Honda's I had seen in stock online. I didn't want to schedule a head because I wanted to see how I was treated when they didn't know I was coming compared to the other dealers I had scheduled ahead with. Though they were SUPER busy someone stopped and asked if we had been helped within a minute of us walking in and when asked who could help us Chris Aughney stood right up and said he would help us if we were ok waiting a few minutes. Chris searched high and low trying to find the Honda's we were wanting to look at, even walked the lot with us to try and see, but to no avail as they had been sold already. However, we spotted a ford explorer and asked about it and Christ was right on it for me. he pulled out his roster, got me the key, and let me take it for a test drive. I told him i wasn't prepared to buy that day and needed time to think about it. He was so great, he didn't make any side comments like, it might not be here that long." or anything like that he simply told me to just let him know. When I thought on it I called him and asked to look at another ford explorer as it had the features I wanted and also asked to take it for an overnight test and he was more than happy to allow me to take the vehicle over night and once again didn't insinuate anything for the possibility of the vehicle being sold before I got there for the over night (I'm sure he held it for me). I had been Pre-approved through a lender but the dealership found me a better interest rate loan through another lender and everyone was so accommodating for helping get me the car I wanted at a steal of a price! (what I looked up it was prices below KBB.com dealer price range by about $300). all and all I am so happy with my new car and the service I received! :) More
