My husband and I bought a truck 2 weeks ago and was promised by Cecil the floor manager that he would fix a couple of damages on the truck. I have contacted him several times and is ignoring my calls. promised by Cecil the floor manager that he would fix a couple of damages on the truck. I have contacted him several times and is ignoring my calls. I have even tried calling my salesperson Jessica and she is avoiding talking to me and told me to not bother her. This has been the worst car experience I have ever had. Beware these people are crooks and will promise you anything in order to sale you a car. I regret ever purchasing this truck from this dealership. I just want to get the service I deserve and my repairs completed. More

This dealership was very professional and it was an easy experience - they had the truck in their lot that I was looking for. The Finance Department was also very easy to work with. experience - they had the truck in their lot that I was looking for. The Finance Department was also very easy to work with. More

TLDR- Very unhappy with Griffith Ford, San Marcos. Messaged the salesperson back and forth over the course of two days. I told him the price I was willing to pay for it. Initially he wouldn’t give me a price on it, and kept pressuring me to come in and test drive. I live 1+ hours away and told him I wasn’t willing to make the drive without a final “out the door” price. After a few messages back and forth we finally agree. I get the VIN and arrange financing through my credit union. Wife takes off work early, coordinates child care, and we drive to the dealership. We test drive the vehicle and start the paperwork. The price on the paperwork is the advertised price - not what we agreed to on messenger. I say, hey you made a mistake on the price. He says, let me talk to my manager. Sales manager comes out and says they can’t do the price we agreed on. Wouldn’t negotiate off their advertised price. I guess they figured we’d cave and just pay the difference - not likely. We ended up walking out over $900, completely wasting our time.... and now I’m going to tell everyone who will listen how shady their sales practices are. ***It’s exactly BS like this that makes people not trust dealerships and hate the car buying process.*** More
Overall it was an easy process. The only issue I had was the front windshield has a crack in the upper drivers side corner and the dealership was not willing to repair or replace. That didn’t stop me from the front windshield has a crack in the upper drivers side corner and the dealership was not willing to repair or replace. That didn’t stop me from buying the truck but I do find it odd that they wouldn’t confirm if it had been repaired to prevent further cracking. I had it looked at after the purchase and it had not be repaired. More
