Probably their fault After realizing a problem with our trailer lights, I tested the fuses and did continuity checks on the wires only to come up empty. I called Griffin Chrysler and asked for someone in the service area. I told the person that answered my problem and that I had read the lights might have to be turned on via computer. He said he wasn’t sure with my model of van but looked up the VIN via my telephone number. He said they didn’t do a prep on the van like they were supposed to at time of purchase and that I should bring it in, and he would have his electrical guy spent 5 minutes on it making sure everything was plugged in. He said they do not come from the factory ready to go and it should have been done during the prep process. Since this wasn’t done, that was probably why the lights didn’t work. I was to bring it in at 7 am Monday. I arrived on time and was told to go see Joe for electrical. Joe asked if I had an appointment and I told him my story. He said, ‘I don’t have any appointment for you, and no one will be here until 7:30 and I would like to know who you talked to about this’. Unfortunately, I didn’t remember. So, he yells to the guy behind him ‘I’ve got one here that doesn’t have an appointment, what should I do with him’ like I wasn’t even standing there. All I understood from guy number 2 is something about a diagnostic. Joe walked to the van and plugs something in and starts the process to take the car in. I then asked what was going to happen, to which he replied that we are going to do a diagnostic for $105. I said I didn’t need the diagnostic and that all I needed was for them to check to see if everything was plugged in…like it should have been if the vehicle had been properly prepped when I bought it. I said if you look at the record on my van, nobody did a prep on it. He said he could see that, but it didn’t matter. I asked why not. He said ‘look, nobody here is going to work on your car for free, do you want the diagnostic or not?’ Even though it is probably their fault the lights don’t work, he was acting like I am the bad guy for wanting them to check if they made a mistake. I took my keys and left. I fix my own cars, but if it is missing something it makes it hard to fix. In addition, I was told this could only be done at the dealer. I have called the manager of the service department twice and he has not returned my calls. I would never buy a car from Griffin again. And if you do buy one make sure they have properly prepped and documented everything about your car because once you leave it is all on you. More

Said it would take an hour and a half to get done went back 5 hours later and they were still working on it they wouldn't tell us what was wrong finally the guy says oh you brought the car in with the check engine light which is the out light why so so after I doing and lying to us for an hour we took the car and now we're stuck with $1,000 bill because we went to AutoZone and they said it was because they shut the engine computer off we were going to get a lawyer but we decided not to we bought two cars from them never-again More

They sold me a warranty from s bogus warranty company. Took it in for service at regular scheduled times. Out of no where they tell me the engine needs to b replaced and they want to charge me up to 7000 to fix the issue. On top of that they rented me a vehicle in the meantime, but now that I can’t afford the charges for my truck they want to charge me for rental for 3 weeks. The service sept is clearly is incompetent to have missed an “engine knock”. The sales and finance lied to me about the warranty. And the general attitude from everyone else on the staff was negative and did absolutely nothing to help me out. I’m a single father and a full time student and now I’m completely screwed bc of these guys. More

I left my car with Griffin to check for noise in the rear end and vibration on shifting of my Chrysler 300C. The service technician said he would get back to me once they checked it out. After 1 week no contact and I texted. The response via text was that they were busy. 2 more weeks and the same thing each week. I also tried to call and left voicemails. No response. Finally I camped out on a Friday before leaving for vacation and got the service manager who told me the tech was fired and they would take care of this now. Another week and a half before I got my car back with more excuses and no repairs. Worse yet - when I received the car back there were gouges in the top right fender from the over 1 month stay at the dealer. I have a picture of it parked next to the dumpster when I left on vacation (I had walked around and inspected it since it was unlocked and in the back of the dealer). The dumpster was overflowing. Management refused to even acknowledge the potential and pushed the blame off. They had it over 1 month and a ridiculously clean Chrysler 300 now has down to the metal gouges and they didn't even try to make it right. Service manager Steve said I would have to sue them to get them to fix it. I asked for cameras that could show if it was damaged by the dumpster and they said they don't have any cameras. Doesn't that sound fishy for a dealer with millions of dollar worth of inventory? I asked to talk to the general manager or owner? No, I could leave a message. Unbelievable poor service, lack of ownership on the service stay and the damage caused and condescending to recommend I would have to sue them to recover any damages. What about those who cannot afford to pursue the damages? Be very careful with trusting them with anything more than an oil change at this dealer. And don't leave it for long and take pictures. More
Another Great Service Experience April 2019 I took my Challenger into the Service Department and spoke with Nick in Parts, Rob in Service, along with Jim and Joe from Service re: i April 2019 I took my Challenger into the Service Department and spoke with Nick in Parts, Rob in Service, along with Jim and Joe from Service re: installing a Barton shifter and changing my transmission fluid. Everyone of these professionals worked together to make certain the parts needed were ordered, and were installed within a week. I was also advised that Dan, a Service Mechanic at Griffin, would be the one doing the install, because he was/is very knowledgeable re: transmissions, etc... Dan did a great job with the install, and Jim and Joe made certain I received updates on my vehicle throughout the day. Rob made certain I received a fair price for the work, and as the Service Department Manager, I’ve always found him to be very honest and trustworthy. I only take my Challenger to be worked on at Griffin, and it’s because of the professionals that work in the Parts & Service Departments; those mentioned and others there as well. More

Steve got me a same-day appointment and hooked up my car to the computer to let me know what was going on. When it was discovered that there was nothing that needed immediate attention and I was okay to keep driving he got me on my way without charging me! That’s great customer service! More

So there I was trying wipe the foggy windshield with 3 of my grandkids in the truck!! Had my truck in several times for this problem. They put in a new blower motor but that did"nt solve the problem. Now they said they ordered a control panel but it is on back order and can take several weeks to months to get in, and they are not sure if this will resolve the problem. Blower goes off then comes back on after 5 to 20 min. I just think with a 2016 Ram with only25000 miles I should be able to rely on it. It goes out once or twice a day for 5 to 20 min,then comes on again. They say they can:t get a reading on it because it happens intermittnly. Very frustrated. Dennis Roth More

At time of check in he said it would be early afternoon.. Are you kidding me?? So I basically had to find a ride home only to Return hours later and no answers. Terrible customer service nd what a joke! 100$ to look at my 2016. Replaced axle 2 wks ago nd the Guage is not reading my tire pressure! I mean come on so slow!!!! I'm extremely upset by the actions and miscommunication of this service center so basically out 100$ nd still broken! Wow Dodge come on!!!. Very disappointed!!! More

Bought two cars from there, they are not good to loyal cust I have bought 2 cars from this dealer in the last 3 years. My last purchase was a 2016 jeep bought in April of 17. I took my jeep to have the remote s I have bought 2 cars from this dealer in the last 3 years. My last purchase was a 2016 jeep bought in April of 17. I took my jeep to have the remote start looked at it was not working. They told me there was a part under the hood that had physical damage to it so it was not warrantied. They wanted to charge me to replace it. I spoke with the General Manager and explained to him that griffin and the place that I get my oil changed are the only people that go under the hood of my car, I understand one of them broke it but it’s hard to prove who broke it but I asked him to be reasonable as I have bought 50,000 dollars in vehicles in the last 3 years and I am looking to replace my vehicle next summer again. The part and labor was on $150 so it’s not a crazy amount of damage so I asked if we could meet in the middle and he kept going on saying no. Bad customer satisfaction they just lost a potential lifetime customer of a man that buys a new car every 1-2 years.. More
