Grieco Automotive Group all began with Michael Grieco Sr. who ventured into the automotive industry in 1975 and opened his first collision center, Universal Claim Service. This led to the opening of Vantage Motor Sales in 1979. Then, in 1995, he acquired his first new car franchise, Metro Honda, now known as Grieco Honda. As the years passed and with the acquisitions of more franchises, Grieco Automotive Group was created to handle the company's growing automotive business. Michael Grieco Sr. began transferring the leadership role of the day-to-day operations to his son. Micheal Grieco Jr., who is now one of the youngest automotive CEOs in the country. Over the years, Michael Grieco Jr. has added three Chevrolet, three Ford, as well as Acura, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Toyota franchises. Today, they continue to maintain a solid reputation for excellence, always striving to exceed customer expectations and deliver first-class customer service. Grieco Automotive Group now boasts six dealerships in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, seven dealerships in Florida and one dealership in California. They've received multiple #1 rankings for volume sales, certified pre-owned sales and service. Many of the Grieco franchises have also won numerous manufacturer awards including those for customer satisfaction as well as President's Awards. In addition to their dealerships, Grieco Automotive Group also operates two "green," eco-friendly collision centers, one in Johnston, Rhode Island and the other in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. From waterborne paint technology to stringent recycling efforts, the Grieco Collision Centers are dedicated to protecting the environment while providing you with a full-range of auto body repair needs. Michael's brothers, Domenic and Robert Grieco, also play pivotal roles in the Grieco Automotive Group. As General Manager, Domenic oversees the Grieco Ford store in Raynham, Massachusetts. Domenic's efforts and success with this dealership have enabled the Grieco Automotive Group to acquire two more high-volume Ford dealerships in Florida. Robert Grieco serves as Corporate Pre-Owned Director for the Grieco Automotive Group, overseeing the pre-owned departments for all 14 dealerships.
