wanted horn fixed....turned into a " complicated " situation dropped off my 02 T-Bird among other issues, wanted my horn repaired. Gabriel called me at home, and told it was the actual horn assembly....i ok' dropped off my 02 T-Bird among other issues, wanted my horn repaired. Gabriel called me at home, and told it was the actual horn assembly....i ok'd the repair. he called back & said the problem was now located somewhere in the steering wheel assembly, but the mechanic who did this kind of work would not be in shop for several hours. are the mechanics now "specialized" in what they fix?? since when? i asked him have the other work i requested finished & forget about the horn. could not leave the car there for most of the day....picked up car....horn still not working. have been a long time customer......very disappointed in the outcome of this visit. p.s. Gabriel,who is very courteous, originally told me that if it was just a simple fuse replacement i could get a break on the charge.....apparently whomever Gabriel "report's too" told him i would have to pay $70 for a fuse replacement in addition too my other charges!! not a good way to treat a loyal customer. i know the cost of a fuse and how long it takes to replace it........maybe 45 seconds. Did not honor bumper to bumper warranty My vehicle was brought in 2x for the same issue. Both times FORD provided me a loaner for 4-5 days. Second time FORD blamed outside mechanics for brea My vehicle was brought in 2x for the same issue. Both times FORD provided me a loaner for 4-5 days. Second time FORD blamed outside mechanics for breaking things under the hood when clearly videoed were attached prior to bringing the vehicle in. Overall, FORD should have completed repairs under bumper to bumper warranty as this was the second visit for same issue. A day later my wipers no longer work and remain in the up position. More
Great rep but always problems at the shop Hi. I took our Ford Explorer to change oil on 10-28. I had an appointment at 8.00am 1. When I came in and was getting ready to give car for servi Hi. I took our Ford Explorer to change oil on 10-28. I had an appointment at 8.00am 1. When I came in and was getting ready to give car for service I was told that my car is under different name in the system !!!??? I asked why is that and nobody was able to answer me. We bought that car in that same location and something like that happened. I had to go home and bring my paperwork so they can verify that it is MY car. 2. After oil change was complete (took an 1 hr) I was told that tire rotation can not be done because mechanic couldn't find the lock from anti-theft lock system that I have installed on my tires. But that location are the only one that I ever went to and they were last ones to use it. So when I asked who did it last time and where they would put it or if they would have some master key for it - the answer was - No! we don't know where is it. Order new one. Which I of course did after all - I still need to be able to take my tires off. (Cost me another $15). Bottom line: I lost time, money and patience with that location! More
