I recently purchased a 2008 Ford Edge about two weeks ago. When I went to test drive and purchase the vehicle I dealt with Garath who was a very pleasant and helpful sales person. After the sale was made it was a completely different story. So far in the two weeks that I've had the vehicle I have brought it back to the shop three times and I'm still having the same problem. Whenever I go to the service dept to tell them about the issues I'm having they would tell me I'm just not use to driving a SUV and the sounds I'm hearing are normal. I was also told that even though other people were also hearing these sounds that they weren't a ford dealership so it didn't matter. So I have to go as far as to setting up an appointment with another Ford dealership just to get this problem resolved. Overall I'm completely unsatisfied with this dealership. I would and have told anyone looking to purchase a car from this dealership to run in the other direction. More
I recently had the privilege of working with Sal in the Service Dept. when I had an issue with my 2003 Ford Escape. Sal was very professional, understanding and very patient with me and my car!! He was extremely accommodating and made sure my needs as a customer were met (the use of a loaner car to get back and forth to work everyday). It is because of Sal that I will keep coming back to Ford of Branford. Ford is lucky to have him as an employee and as a customer, I am lucky to have him when and if my car should need service! I recently traded in my beloved (yes, I said it! I loved this car!!) 2003 Ford Escape. In doing so, I got to work with Frank Tomanio. This is the 2nd car we have bought through Frank. Frank is awesome to work with. From the moment we sat down to talk, Frank makes you feel like a member of his family. He asked US all the right questions and when WE asked him questions, he always had the answers. I can't thank Frank enough for his patience with me. We traded enough emails that I think he'll be on our Christmas Card list this year! :) Frank, on behalf of my family, I thank you for all your help the last couple weeks and for getting us where we needed to be at this moment! When we are ready for another car, its back to Frank we will go. And I will highly recommend him to anyone who needs a new car! Frank at Branford Ford is the way to go!! More

I recently brought my father's Explorer in for recall fixes, expecting to have to leave it all day. Sal Casa was nice enough to let me know that it would only take 30 min, so I waited instead. Juan sold us our Lincoln MKX and we were extremely happy with his customer service. We were debating between a couple of vehicles and he was very knowledgeable about all of them. The dearlership Ford of Branford was kind and curtious. They new all about the vehicle I was buying. I will never buy another vehicle from ford of branford again. they offered me $8000 for my ford excursion I said "ill see it on your lot for $15000 next week" they assured me that the truck wasnt worth i again. they offered me $8000 for my ford excursion I said "ill see it on your lot for $15000 next week" they assured me that the truck wasnt worth it and that it would have to go to auction. I let them talk me into it and drove by a week later to see it on their lot for $18,900. I approached the salesman and he said "i had nothing to do with that". later that evening I got a phone call from a manager stating that they couldnt sell the truck with the lift kit on it and that it would cost $7,000 to bring it back to stock. It didnt cost me that much to lift it and they are a ford dealership so Im sure the parts would cost them less than it would me. I discussed this with several other dealrships that told me that the truck could be sold as it was. there were several other issues with this dealership. I had to wait 13 days for a check for the balance owed me and to release my girlfriends truck that had $2700 worth of work done to it. Which i found out later we got taken advantage of on that as well. lesson learned I will never go there again. More
