my car needed an upstream O2 sensor. I was quoted almost my car needed an upstream O2 sensor. I was quoted almost $600 to remove and replace it. A direct replacement part from Bosch at AutoZone cost $60 wit my car needed an upstream O2 sensor. I was quoted almost $600 to remove and replace it. A direct replacement part from Bosch at AutoZone cost $60 with tax. It took me 20 minutes to replace it. Most of that time was just getting to the electrical connection to unplug the old one. How you can attempt to charge me almost $600 for a repair that takes less than a half an hour and consists of unscrewing and unplugging an O2 sensor, then plugging and screwing it back in. Telling me an O2 sensor is something related to the Voltec system and only a Voltec certified mechanic can service it is disingenuous at best and insulting as well. It's part of a 1.4 liter GASOLINE ENGINE. Did Jonathan think I don't know ANYTHING about my car? I'll come to you when I need the Voltec system serviced, if not, I'm sorry but I can't use a service department that over charges for minimal repairs. More
The worst service experience ever. They booked me at 9:00, said I have one hour, said they they were busy and it’ll take two hours, said OK. 10:45 saw my car drove by a service guy, asked if it was fini 9:00, said I have one hour, said they they were busy and it’ll take two hours, said OK. 10:45 saw my car drove by a service guy, asked if it was finished, said no I’m starting !! It is always an outstanding experience when I visit this dealership for service. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. Just to put this is perspective, I dropped the car off at 7:30am and never heard from them until I called multiple times to only find out by 4:30PM they were keeping the car. The service guy, you know the middleman between the customer and client, never checked the status all day. Then I was told a lame reply, that the mechanic never mentioned anything all day. This guy is the person that is meant to ask and inform the client. Now the car was going to be with them 3 days and still no offer to for a loaner. Next 80k dollar car will not be with you. This service guy does nothing except sit on his behind. Does not move for the client, he acts the the King and the customers are the subjects. By the way, I did say something to this service guy, who made no attempt to have me, the customer walk out a bit happier. Fix the problem before you lose more business. Zero starS for the service middleman 3 stars for the actual mechanic, fixed the two problems, but did not leave it clean, didn’t even clean up the new tire. More
