Read below I was charged $106.79 to assess what was wrong with my old car. Since I bought a new Chevrolet Cruze (the second car I have bought from AutoNation), I was charged $106.79 to assess what was wrong with my old car. Since I bought a new Chevrolet Cruze (the second car I have bought from AutoNation), I hope that charge of $106.79 will be waived and credited to my credit card. Thank you... Paul Valero More

GREAT CAR & DEAL FOR AVERAGE CREDIT I had a horrible experience at another dealership (Sheehan Autoplex- STAY AWAY!!!) which brought me back to AutoNation Chevrolet Fort Lauderdale. I pr I had a horrible experience at another dealership (Sheehan Autoplex- STAY AWAY!!!) which brought me back to AutoNation Chevrolet Fort Lauderdale. I previously purchased 2 different leases from them under my mothers name (one in 2008 and another in 2010). I never had any issues with them as a dealership. I am 25 years old and decided I needed to purchase my next car on my own. My credit isn't perfect but it isn't terrible. It is in the average range, however, this would be my first car loan. Because of that I already understood that I wouldn't get the best interest rates or deals. Either way, I felt like I walked out with a good deal that worked for me. I purchased a 2014 Certified Chevy Camaro that only had about 14,000 miles with the help of BRAD DRAKE! I got it $3,000 below the market value. It even still smells like a new car! I felt like Brad did all he could do for me and my situation. I only had $2,000 to put down but he still managed to get me into the car I wanted in the price range I was looking for. Overall, the experience was extremely pleasant, which says a lot because normally it is not! I am officially a happy car buyer thanks to BRAD DRAKE and AutoNation Fort Lauderdale! More
Excellent Response and Service Lost my keys to my Chevy Tahoe and called the dealership for help. I had a service tech at my home and had new keys and a fob to use my vehicle within 1 hour of my call. A few hours later the GM Don Mook called to make sure I was taken care of. Great experience. Dealer Stands Behind Product and Services I purchased a Camaro in 2010 and added rear spoiler thru the dealership. Four months later I went to work overseas for three years. Which meant the fa I purchased a Camaro in 2010 and added rear spoiler thru the dealership. Four months later I went to work overseas for three years. Which meant the factory warranty had expired. At the four-year mark with Sixteen thousand miles (garage kept) on the Camaro the rear spoiler's clear coat started to peel. I went to the dealership to ask if anything could be done since the warranty had expired. I spoke to my original salesperson Jim Murray and explained my dilemma. He proceeded to talk to the General Sales Manager, Don Mook, and to my surprise they stated they would repaint the spoiler at “No Charge” to me because the car is in new condition and with such low miles. My wife (her car) and I are very appreciated for the service provided after the warranty expired. Needless to say they have made a long-term customer out of us. Thanks to Ft. Lauderdale Autonation! AutoNation Chevrolet made my shopping experience horrible! I ordered a 2014 Corvette from AutoNation Chevrolet Fort Lauderdale and took delivery November 30, 2013. My company purchases, leases or finances all I ordered a 2014 Corvette from AutoNation Chevrolet Fort Lauderdale and took delivery November 30, 2013. My company purchases, leases or finances all vehicles with the typical manufacturer lending institutions, Ally Bank or Ford Credit without any issues, until now. The fleet manager, Jim Murray, asked me for my personal information to purchase the vehicle. I explained to him that I was not going to be purchasing the vehicle, my company would be buying the car. He assured me that it was simply to place in their file and he would not run any credit inquiries on me or use the information in any other way. I hesitantly provided the information to him. (I have had my credit messed up by identity theft in the past) I told him I would not sign the credit application personally and that our corporation would be the only signer. The next thing I know, without my permission or signature, Jim Murray had submitted my personal information to a number of auto lenders and I now had about 20 inquiries on my credit reports. This lowered my credit score and I spent the last year having the inquiries removed. The problem here is that this lying employee gets away with this kind of behavior. I had told him that if the financing was not approved for my company, that the corporation would pay cash for the car. The day I arrived to pick up the car, Jim Murray explained to me what he had done without my approval and now my name had to be guaranteeing the company loan. Then he lied again and said that this car loan won’t show up on your credit, it will just be there in case the company didn’t pay for the vehicle. I was stuck. I had just sold my other car. I needed the new car to get around and I hesitantly agreed, as the damage to my personal credit was done. I signed to get the car off the lot and my company paid off the high interest rate loan from Ally Bank. In addition to the above fiasco, Jim Murray did not disclose to me that he was going to add extra charge items on the new vehicle that I did not want. $500 for paint protection, a $700 fee back to AutoNation, etc. I eventually got the General Manager, Pete Small, to refund some of these amounts. I asked Pete to look into why did things go so wrong with my transaction and he never called me back. After this incident and the service department disaster across the street at AutoNation Ford Fort Lauderdale, I will never recommend anyone purchase or go to an AutoNation store. I hope this doesn't happen to you….. More

He took us on a test drive and encouraged us to take our time . I had great customer service from Isreal, our sales associate, Chris and Anthony the sales managers. They really searched for our right equinox for me!! The price was terrific. I have been searching for an equinox with a 6 cylinder engine for 1 yr and Auto Nation of Ft Lauderdale not only found the auto but even gave me more then I could have expected with a 3.6l, 6 cylinder engine. This is the 3rd Chevy I have purchased from them and I am waiting for the 2015 Colorado to come out and maybe try for the 4th. Thank You for the best customer service ever and price!!!!!!!!! Pat More
BAD EXPERIENCE On about 6/3/2014 I contacted Autonation Chevy in Fort Lauderdale Florida about a corvette that was for sale on there web site. The first sales perso On about 6/3/2014 I contacted Autonation Chevy in Fort Lauderdale Florida about a corvette that was for sale on there web site. The first sales person didn't know much about the car and had me talk to Cameron. I asked him question about the car specifically about abrasions chips in the paint etc. he told me the car was clean and beautiful I also asked about transporting the car which he indicated they did all the time. On 6/12/2014 I sent an appraiser to Autonation to look at the car take pictures and give me his general impression. On 6/13/2014 I got the pictures back the general impressions were good there were abrasion on the splitter which Cameron did not advise me of and when I did asked him about them he made it sound like no big deal, of course he wasn't buying the car. I made and offer to Cameron on 6/17/2014 and of course he had to talk to his manager. He came back saying his manager was going to make me a great deal of course the price was higher which I did not accept. Later on in the day I received a text from Cameron wanting to know how fast I wanted to move on this car cause according to Autonation policy it had to be sent to the Orlando dealership if I wasn't going to move on the car. Strong arm tactics by dealership LOL. I told him to give them the car that I was not budging from my original offer and he said OK. Later that evening I get a phone call from Cameron saying they accepted my offer, I thought it was going to Orlando; and wanted a deposits proof of insurance DL all of which I provided immediately I asked him about transporting the car preferable in a trailer that was enclosed I also told him I had contacted several reputable haulers to do the job which he said could not be done cause they were responsible for moving the car. On 6/18/2014 I wired the funds for the car in full and told Cameron to expect them. I also asked him info on the transport people which he said was in the works. On6/19/2014 Cameron told me they had received the wire transfer I asked him about transport info again which he would not be able to give me till 6/23/2014. On6/23/2014 I called about paperwork that needed to be done on the car which was overnighted 6/24/2014the next day and signed in front of a notary. While doing the paperwork we noticed my name was spelt wrong correction were made and I called Cameron telling him about the mistake, my gosh they had my DL and still couldn't doit right, and that new paper work would have to be overnighted with the correct spelling of my name so I could take care of the TTL and drive the car when it arrived. He said he would get it done. He also told me the car would leave Wednesday and arrive at my house on Friday I asked if the hauler was enclosed he said no. So your going to transport my expensive car in an open trailer wow this is what I was afraid of. Well now they have my money the paperwork with the wrong name and as much as I ask them to do what is right Autonation gets farther away from customer service. On 6/25/2014 still have not receive corrected paperwork and the transporter calls my house wanting to pick up the corvette from my house and ship it to Fort Lauderdale. Does this sound like a company that knows what is going on. I called Autonation to make them aware of the screw up the GM Pete Small was helpful he said he would take care of the situation. On 6/26/2014 left Text with Cameron about if the car had been picked up and if paperwork had been sent out with no response. Called later on that evening to check on transport and spoke to Chris a sales manager said the car was leaving and would arrive Saturday not Friday as promised, by the way I took off work Friday to receive the car. Chris also advise me that the paperwork was in the car not overnighted as promised many times by Cameron. He also sent me the invoice for transport and drivers cell phone finally not as promised be Cameron. On6/27/2014 I get a call from Cameron telling me the car is on the way which I already new YA Cameron to the rescue. I called Autonation to find out where the correct paper work for the car was I figured if it was arriving today I could still get the TTL done and drive the car when it arrives. At this point no one is wanting to talk to me everyone is busy my faith in Cameron is nullnvoid. Pete Small calls me to inform me that the paperwork is in the car WOW. Now I have taken off of work for nothing no car no paperwork nothing. I also informed Pete that the transport fee should not be part of the cost of the car so I would not have the pay taxes for transport. I didn't know if this point had been corrected on the new paperwork but I did make them aware of it earlier. Small point I know but nothing has gone as planed. 6/28/2014 the car arrives in an enclosed transport thanks to Mr. Pete Small the GM the car is absolute gorges. Where is the paperwork oh here it is---- not corrected spelled wrong no title. So now I have this expensive car sitting in my drive way can't drive cause Ill get a ticket nothing to prove that it is my car. Call Pete Small told him about the problem explained that the uncorrected paperwork was no good. The TTL place told me the paperwork would have to either be redone or an addendum page notarized would have to be sen stating they misspelled my name. Mr. Small said he would get back in touch with me. 6/30/14 Called Mr. Small again he said title should be there in an hour and the rest of the paperwork would be overnight with Fedex. He forgot to make changes on transport cost being added in on the cost of the car and would make good on the taxes I would pay. 7/1/2014 Checked Fedex tracking paperwork still in Fort Lauderdale and would not arrive until Thursday not overnighted as promised. Here we go again, so instead of one week not driving the car it will be two cause Friday 4th of july and the TTL is not open on the weekend. Called Pete again he gave me a new tracking number and said it would be overnighted can't track the new Fedex number. I have been a patron of Gm vehicles for the last 30 years and never have I experience such lack of customer service as I have with AUTONATION CHEVY in Fort Lauderdale Florida I have times dates emails and text to prove all of this. To warn the American public about this place. Today 7/3/2014 the paperwork is here TTL done drove the car for the first time WOW THANK YOU MR. PETE SMALL FOR TAKING CHARGE WHEN THINGS WENT WRONG. TOTALLY INCOMPETENT PERSONEL WHO LACK COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO GET A JOB DONE. THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND DELIVERED NOTHING BUT HEADACHES INSTEAD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. More
