I found a used car for $7600. The salesman was very helpful. When it came down to leave a deposit, the sales manager told me the car would cost over $10,000. Told dealer fee of $1200 amongst other fees helpful. When it came down to leave a deposit, the sales manager told me the car would cost over $10,000. Told dealer fee of $1200 amongst other fees. $249 for a detailing package I don't want. I told him Iif you don't lower price I'm walking out. Refused to lower price so I left. Salesman comes running out and pleads to me. I told him the sales manager is a jerk. Contacted me later and asked if I would reconsider with a different sales manager. Waiting for another proposal. I usually don't write reviews. My experience with this dealership made me share how I was treated by the Grieco Chevrolet of Delray Beach. We liked a car for our son, who was not with us, at the time of m dealership made me share how I was treated by the Grieco Chevrolet of Delray Beach. We liked a car for our son, who was not with us, at the time of making the deal and paying the car deposit. We immediately provided all the documents requested by the dealer. After the necessary checks, we reached the deal and paid the deposit. We’ve been told that we can pay the deposit to save the deal for later when our son can be present and be registered as a co-owner. Later, our salesperson James (he is awesome) called us and asked us to go to the dealership as soon as possible. It turns out, in parallel to us, they sold the car to another buyer. We spent in the dealership another hour. They made us wait without telling us what is happening. Finally, about an hour later, our salesman came and told us that the car had been sold to another customer who came much later than us. We shared with him that it is very unprofessional for any of the leadership team not to come and apologize for our lost time. The management team did not find it necessary to take accountabilities for their action. We urged the manager to come and talk to us. The conversation was initiated by us. We just wanted to express our thoughts and feelings even though we knew he doesn’t care. We are offended by the unprofessional attitude of this dealership. We will certainly not go back there to do any business with them. More
This is a deceitful dealership that lacks principles! So This is a deceitful dealership that lacks principles! So here's how this "New Car" dealer operates behind the facade of a stereotypical "Used Car Lot This is a deceitful dealership that lacks principles! So here's how this "New Car" dealer operates behind the facade of a stereotypical "Used Car Lot". I went to see and purchase a 2015 Jaguar that "just came in". They presented me with a filthy car, complete with leaves and ants in the hood and trunk compartments. I was assured before that I arrived for my scheduled appointment that the car was to be cleaned and serviced, neither was done. Also, my salesperson I was scheduled to see was "unavailable". Another salesperson stepped in and we test drove the car. I asked if the car could be inspected by my mechanic (right down the road) which they accommodated. All that I asked was the car be serviced and cleaned prior to my guy inspecting it. So serving and inspecting a pre-owned car by Grieco Chevrolet takes less than an hour, and it was never cleaned. My mechanic liked the car, pointed out a small list of minor things, which were all things that should be serviced BEFORE selling a car. So in asking for the bottom line price from the salesperson, the price increased by almost $4,000!!..for "reconditioning"..this only wasn't for what my guy pointed out (which they were charging me for) but in an email from the salesperson, he pointed out that it also included dealership prepping and service! So here's where Grieco Chevrolet's dishonesty starts, they bait you with a price for a car, then in making said car presentable for sale...they charge you more!! and with other added sneaky fees, it was an almost additional $4,000!..to my shock and dismay, I countered a number complete with down payment and how much I would finance, and didn't receive a call back. Grieco Chevrolet lacks integrity and takes no responsibility in honoring or negotiating prices they falsely advertise, or in prepping and pricing a car properly for sale. I am a local resident and businessman, that believes in shopping in my community, well everyone will now know to stay clear of Grieco Chevrolet and their sister dealerships. I personally, if I had my family name on my business, would be ashamed of the unethical and shady business dealings done here. BUYER BEWARE!! More
Disappointing, made appointment and explained I would wait. Received no less than 7 reminders of the 9:00 am appointment which noted I would wait. Upon my arrival, I was told there was no guarantee the c wait. Received no less than 7 reminders of the 9:00 am appointment which noted I would wait. Upon my arrival, I was told there was no guarantee the car would even be looked at that day and if parts were needed it could extend the time in service. I fully understand a possible delay due to necessary parts. But had I been informed at the time I made the 9:00 am appointment that it wasn’t going to be worked o immediately, I would have arranged for someone to follow me to the dealer the evening before so I would have a ride home. Yes, they then informed me of there shuttle service but promptly said I was lived outside of the shuttle service area, so no they don’t have shuttle. Hence, Uber it was at my cost, all do to lack of communication. So the car was kept over the weekend. No call from from service on Monday. I called for update and was told my service assistant was out sick, very understandable. However, I was told by staff that they would “physically walk” back to service department and provide me a status in 30 minutes. Lo and behold no call back till 9:00 am the next day saying the vehicle was ready for pick up. Unfortunately the ride from a friend that was available the evening before was not available at 9:00 am the next day. Oh well, another Uber. $904 later, I bring the car home and go to put something in the trunk only to find the carpeted lining was all pulled away from the vehicle I assume to give them access to necessary wire and cables. How disrespectful to assume that is acceptable on any level to return a vehicle in that condition. Someone had to complete the work, assure the issue was now in working order, but then fails to see the carpet ripped from its place of position. I am sure it’s not their first rodeo. Small things count. On principle, I returned to the dealer and popped the truck, the service manager looks, says “I don’t know how that happened”. It happened because someone didn’t complete their work. Wish I could post the photos. They fact that someone deemed it appropriate to close the truck with this glaring issues is disturbing at least. What else do they over look. The cavalier attitude needs a review on all levels. Disappointing..... More

Rob gave me an effective overview of the probable problems and would notify me before doing work. He scheduled a Lift driver to take me home. He called as promised and reviewed what they learned. I was impressed. I gave the green light and they did the work - completed in a shorter time than planned. Rob got my Lift back to the dealer and they washed my vehicle before leaving. I was pleased with the knowledge, cooperative spirit, and immediacy of Rob's work. I will definitely come back to Grieco for service on my GMC Arcadia from now on. Great work. Thanks. More
