Had a not so good experience with a local Acura dealership a few weeks earlier and mind you, my husband had purchased a brand new Acura from this dealership 2 year prior. I expected more and when I didn't get it, I to First Acura. Sent email inquiring to First Acura and Bill got back to me right away. He took the time to call me and go over the details so I fully understood everything before asking me to come into First Acura for a test drive. From that 1st phone call I felt like he "took me under his wing". My husband was not able to accompany me to the dealership for any part AND who wants to do this alone! Well, fear not with Bill! Very friendly, personable and tells you like it is. No pressure at all. Very happy with my trade-in appraisal. Knew what my car was worth and these guys hit the number on the spot. Once you decide to buy, dealing with the rest of the gang is the same. Tom (the numbers guy) is very nice and personable. Makes signing the paperwork painless. Bob the tech guru, takes the time to go over EVERY THING in the car so you drive away knowing how to use all the gadgets. Go to First Acura and ask for Bill! More
Terrible I made a deposit on Apr 10 for them to locate 2016 MDX for me. Over 5 weeks and they could not locate it and then I found the car at a couple of diffe I made a deposit on Apr 10 for them to locate 2016 MDX for me. Over 5 weeks and they could not locate it and then I found the car at a couple of different dealers in the area. I asked them to refund the deposit and none of the managers would return a call or email. I ended up speaking to Leo and he also said he will call me back but, never did. I am not sure why they are doing it, as they are losing my service business also, I am never going to refer anyone there and it is almost 2 months now and I haven't received my money back. More
The best car shopping experience i have ever had!!!!!!!!! This is my first time ever buying a new car I have always bought used cars from sleazy used car dealers do to my past credit issues. When I walked in This is my first time ever buying a new car I have always bought used cars from sleazy used car dealers do to my past credit issues. When I walked in I was greeted by Greg a salesman within a minute of walking in the door. He greeted me very nicely and professionally. I started out explaining my past issues concerning my credit and he lead me over to his desk and listened to all my concerns and issues I had. He showed care and concern about my past issues in buying cars and my credit past. To my surprise after asking my permission to look at my credit I found out that my credit was much better than I thought and I would be able to buy a new or a used one. He then showed me several possibilities that fell within what I wanted to spend. I decided on a new Acura because I never had, or was able to get a new car, The salesman helped me in so many ways but I never felt he was pushy or deceptive. Although, I have never been in a new car dealership before I have to say that the whole process was awesome and I would recommend First Acura, Greg and Tom the finance manger who was also wonderful to all my friends and family. You guys at First Acura are Great and First in my book. More
Great Dealership Outstanding Salesman I usually never do surveys just because it is a waste of time but because of the incredible experience I had at First Acura I feel obligated to do so. Greg the salesman that greeted me was very very impressive. His knowledge of the TLX that I was looking at was unbelievable he went through the with a fine tooth comb and was able to answer every question I had. He explained each and every feature it had and what other options were available. Before going to First Acura I went to Acura of Warwick and Prime Acura and by the time I left there I was unimpressed with the sales staff and even more unimpressed with the manager at Prime Acura he was very arrogant and pushy. Greg worked with me very professionally through the negotiation process which was very easy and he only left me once to get the offer which I accepted. In contrast at the other dealerships the salesman left me 3 or 4 times to renegotiate the deal and I left. I was also very impressed with Bob who is as Greg explained to me the Acura Expert and truly was. He went into depth on all the features and re-explained how to use everything. He paired my cell for me too. Over all Greg and Bob made what I was dreading going to another Acura dealer an absolutely outstanding experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. If you’re thinking of buying an Acura your first and last stop should be First Acura and make sure you ask for Greg or call and ask for him you won’t be disappointed. More
An Amazing Experience I walked into First Acura and was greeted promptly and very professionally by Greig I. He sat us down and listen to my needs and wants and explained in great detail about the MDX that we were interested. He then with out even being prompted had a MDX out front for us to take a test drive. Greig had us get in the passenger seats and gave a great overview on all the functions of the MDX and then began to show the extreme capabilities of the MDX. After that he allowed us both to drive the suv and we both fell in love with it. Greig was the best salesman I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He went once to the manager to get an offer for us to buy the car and it was fair and reasonable. So we bought it with outeven a second thought. To top it all off we had a very nice older gentleman go into complete depth on how to use the MDX completely, he really complimented Greigs thoroughness in showing the car. I would recommend First Acura and Greig without even a second thought. Greig will give you an amazing experience. More
Emotional and disappointing experience Please note my feedback is based on what was for me, an incredibly emotional and disappointing pre-owned purchase experience. I attempted to buy a pre Please note my feedback is based on what was for me, an incredibly emotional and disappointing pre-owned purchase experience. I attempted to buy a pre-owned car from this dealership in mid-February 2015. Based on the written and verbal description of the car as well as my excitement, I made the choice to wire transfer the full purchase amount to the salesperson. After my decision to send the full amount, which clearly was a mistake on my part, I discovered a potential mileage discrepancy problem on the vehicle as reported by Carfax. It is my opinion this information should have been disclosed upfront and the salesperson and or dealership more transparent about a fact that could have a significant impact on the resale value of the pre-owned vehicle they were attempting to sell. Once I discovered the potential mileage discrepancy reported by Carfax, I attempted to get a full refund on my purchase and instead felt bullied by the salesperson who did not return any of my calls but did respond via email once. Out of my own desperation, I agreed to forfeit more than a $2,500 deposit in order to secure the rest of my funds. I feel as if I did everything to get a refund, to include escalating the situation to two different managers on duty and am embarrassed I was not smarter and did not run the Carfax report prior to wiring my funds and for believing in trust and transparency. An expensive lesson for sure. More
Service quotes are unclear and staff lacks people skills I have had my car serviced at First Acura for 8 years and always thought they were over priced, but that at least I was getting trustworthy work done. I have had my car serviced at First Acura for 8 years and always thought they were over priced, but that at least I was getting trustworthy work done. Not anymore. My recent experience has lead me to never return there. I went in for a simple battery check, my car had died, and they found that the handsfree link was pulling from the battery while the car was off. The $120 diagnostic fee would remain since I didn't replace the $500 part with them, and instead had them leave it unplugged. They also did a "free" inspection to tell me I needed new breaks and rotars (back). The cost would be upwards of $490, and with one hesitation that I would shop around, I received a call within an hour with a lower price by $50 or so. Thinking that I would rather have new breaks and rotars for $440 than pay $120 to just have an unplugged handsfree link, I agreed. Each time my customer service agent, Katie Kilduff, quoted me the total, SHE DID NOT ADD ALL THE SERVICES, QUOTING ME FOR BREAKS/ROTARS SEPARATELY, LEADING ME TO THINK THE TOTAL WAS LOWER THAN IT REALLY WAS... making it confusing to decide what I was getting and paying for. It turns out I STILL HAD TO PAY THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE, which I learned when I received a call from someone else with the total over $575, when I expressed shock and concern, the gentleman told me I should wait until Katie returns since I had been dealing with her. I called to try to reason with Katie about the miscommunication and the fact that I felt mislead, but over the phone it was a dead end, she claimed she told me I'd still have to pay the diagnostic fee twice, but I have a memory like an elephant, and shallow pockets after the holidays, this was NOT explained to me and I never would have agreed to do breaks and rotars AND pay the diagnostic fee had I known. When I arrived to pick up my car Katie Kilduff was AT LUNCH?! The sweater and purse on her desk suggested she was still in the building, I assume Ms. Kilduff refused to come out of the back room when another agent went looking for her and returned to tell me she "told him the issue". His suggestion was call when the manager would be in the next day, but I had to pay to get my car back. (To be fair, the woman who charged my card was very sorry and understanding, telling me the time the service manager would return and expressing her apologies. Whoever she was she was an angel and deserves the only pat on the back of everyone at First Acura.) To add to that, the next day MY CAR HAD TROUBLE STARTING AGAIN! Calling to talk to the service manager got little understanding about the quote confusion as he repeatedly told me that the breaks were a separate issue from the battery service check, which I now understand but at the time I decided to get new breaks, was not clear. He only offered me a "free" re-check of the battery and that he would "Work with me" on a new battery price ($130) if that was even the issue. However, according to the original service my battery was in "good" condition, which is in writing on my receipt, and plus THATS WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO FIX IN THE FIRST PLACE. Get all quotes in writing! Make sure you understand your costs! Don't go to First Acura Seekonk for service or parts! On the bright side, my breaks feel decent. I am a fair person, but unkind and unfair customer service from a large company is truly unsettling. More

Jay Spaddy was the best salesman we have ever dealt with....and we have dealt with many!! He is friendly and low key - no usual car sales pressure. He was so knowledgeable about the car (we bought the 2015 TRX) that it sold itself! It was amazing how much information he could give us and how helpful he was in our making a decision! He has a very calming personality which really helps during this stressful purchase. Tom Wallentin, the business manager gave us great advice and helped make the process painless! Bob Woodward was amazing, and patient, teaching us all the technical aspects of our car. All in all, a great experience and we would highly recommend first Acura, and specifically Jay! More
