I was driving by the lot and saw that they had in their pre-owned portion of their lot, the type of vehicle I have been looking for. I was with my fiance and 1-year old daughter, but I stopped to ask what pre-owned portion of their lot, the type of vehicle I have been looking for. He said he did not know , but started asking leading questions about what I was looking for, what is my price-range (which is fine, I understand that you are a salesman). He asked us to come sit down at his desk so he could work on getting some information and he could get more into detail. I explained that I wasn't really looking for an extended stay, that I had a toddler with me, I just wanted to know the price. He left and came back and said that the person that knew was busy but that he could show me a few cars that were in my price-range if I wanted. I agreed. He showed me the first car, but couldn't tell me what their asking price was. He showed me the 2nd car, which I told him I did not like. He showed me the third car which had an extremely unattractive exterior color (it was two-toned and changed between blue and green) and I told him he did not need to show it to me. I didn't like the color. His response was 'So that's it? You don't like the color and you're just done with it?' He took us back inside with the understanding that he would find out the price of the first car he showed us. When we went in he sat us down at his desk and proceeded to try and get all of my information and then said another gentleman would then come over when he was available to help me further. That is when I stood up and said nevermind. I could go home and look up the same information on their website inventory with a much simpler answer. I did not need for him to give me the run around; and when I started to walk out another gentleman came running, apologized and asked what I wanted to know, that he would tell me. I told him and he immediately told me the price. Two days later I bought the same car I went to their lot looking for, at the dealership a half mile down the road. It had less miles, a better package for that type of car, it WAS in my price range, and they TOLD me the price when I asked them. More
