The service department at this Kia is absolutely terrible and they bribe customers for good reviews. I have never written a negative review, but I feel compelled to do so after the awful customer service. Fo and they bribe customers for good reviews. When I showed up, on time, I was told there were cars in front of me and the wait would be over 4 hours. I made another appointment for a different day. When I showed up for that appointment I was told that there were cars ahead of me. The Kia employee told me he did not know why the service department made appointments because they took cars on a first come, first serve basis. So, I left again. Finally, on my THIRD try, they were able to take me in when I showed up at 7:45 on a Saturday morning. I understand if first come, first serve is the policy, but this should be communicated to the consumer rather than making pointless appts. Fast forward to my 10,000 mile appt. I called and explained what happened and told the service rep I would bring my car first thing. She said that was fine, never saying an appt was needed. I showed up at 7:45, and they told me now they now take appts. and could not service my car. The incompetency and lack of customer service is just awful. They have zero internal communication between departments. All the rep had to do was tell me on the phone that they now take appointments as a policy and the problem would have been solved but she never communicated this. When I told the service manager that this morning, he told me that was an administration issue and nothing to do with him. Lack of accountability and terrible service and communication. I had a Toyota for 30 years and never experienced this with their service department. Oh- and then after the 5000 mile debacle, the service department called me incessantly asking me to leave a 5 star review in exchange for detailing my car for free at the next service!!!!!! When you read all the positive reviews, bear this in mind. More
Left 2023 Kia sportage for warranty on 12/28/23 with service tech Andrew. Was promised a status call the following Saturday. After not hearing any word , I called again on1/2/24, I called to inquire. After a lengthy hold time was advised that I would receive a call back. Never got call back so I called later and got voicemail. Left word for a callback. Received callback late afternoon from Chris saying that car was ready. When I went to pick up car, rang bell for service, but no one replied. An employee walked and asked if I was being waited on. I said no. He disappeared thru the employee entrance and I continued to wait. Another employee entered the desk area and asked if he could help. I said, “just trying to pick up my car”. He thumbed through papers, had me to sign and handed me the keys. I asked where is my car? He said outside somewhere. I went out but had to turn on my car alarm to find the vehicle parked between a number of other cars. Worst and most unprofessional service I have ever experienced. I purchased the car from this dealership but will go elsewhere when I need service in the future. Absolutely the most disappointing experience in recent memory! More

I was visiting from Atlanta when my 2014 kia Sorento engine ceased. I called this dealership and spoke with Terrell Goddard. If you contact KIA customer care they will tell you to contact the dealership. When you go to dealership they will tell you contact customer care. I finally filed a claim with KIA customer care and it too contact the dealership. When you go to dealership they will tell you contact customer care. I finally filed a claim with KIA customer care and it took them 2 weeks to get back to me. Every time I spoke to someone they escalated my claim to someone else. I felt as if they were waiting me out or hoping I'd eventually give up. I traded a 2017 Mercedes SUV for a Kia sportage from xxxx. Biggest mistake of my life. Finally, Melissa from the KIA claims department calls me to inform me that the KIA is ready and has been repaired. .... 🙄... I arrive there and guess what? Riverchase Kia says the car isn't ready and they never spoke with Melissa. I have a screenshot of the email below. This is like a horror movie or a sick trick being played on me. At this point I've been out of car for 2 months paying insurance for a car I'm not driving and not even offered a rental car for my troubles. I've had enough! I finally see my 2017 Mercedes Benz that I traded in for this junk KIA and I tell them I want my car back and you guys can keep that KIA you've been trying to fix for two months. They send me a manager his name is Shaquille Johnson. He tells me in order to get my car back it's going to cost me $3,800. My response was you sold me a car that worked for a week. I traded in my Mercedes and payed you a difference of $7,500 I want my money back I don't want to pay to get my car back. Mr. Shaquille laughed at my pain and anger. I asked Shaquille Johnson if he found my situation funny.... He responds with yes. It took every bit of my soul not to strangle this man KIA has placed in management. I was able to walk away and not go to jail that Friday. I have posted a picture of the manager so you know exactly who laughs at a KIA customer after being sold a lemon at his establishment. I have another KIA that they serviced for an oil change and they can't even do that right. Look at the attached pictures. Please stay away from Riverchase KIA. They should not be business at all. Kia cars can be nice when they work. However, I have lost faith in the response from KIA customer care and how they handled selling me a lemon. I finally purchased my Mercedes back and I will stick with brands who actually stand by their vehicles and care to make the moment right.. and not try to profit from a customer's misery that they inflicted. More
