Where do I start. I was referred to this dealership by a former employee and was told it would be a good experience as my experience with the other kia dealer was less I was referred to this dealership by a former employee and was told it would be a good experience as my experience with the other kia dealer was less than ideal. I have had issues with my kia since they did the update for the engine years ago. Back in February of this year I was driving home from work and while driving I started hearing metal noise it sounded like a heat shield rattle at first, I kep driving as I had just had an oil change about 4 weeks prior and then it got louder my check engine light came on and was flashing and then the vehicle went into limp mode and I could not go over 40mph , I had to get the tow truck to tow it to greenway franklin which was over 400$ there was a technician I trusted that worked there. They found significant Oil consumption going on and the next step in the engine extension due to the class a lawsuit for Kia was to replace the Knock sensor. That was done and my vehicle was driving ok until I started again having issues with acceleration. I have used synthetic oil in my vehicle and usually will only go 3k miles between oil changes however I should be able to go 5k miles. While I was driving to work on 11/22/24 I started hearing metal noises again while driving then after 15 more minutes my check engine light came on and was flashing it went into limp mode again and I was about to pull into my place of business when all of a sudden my vehicle just made a loud metal pop like noise and the vehicle just shut down. I was 500 miles away from my 3k mile oil change interval and 2500 miles away from 5k miles for what the recommended interval is. When I checked the oil level on the dipstick there was none! Fast forward to working with AARON my service advisor. He was great in the beginning. However I had to consistently reach out to find out what is going on with the vehicle. Once they got the engine in the shop he advised that it would be done in about 3 days. I got a text about "recommended services needed" when looking at the recommended services i noticed they were trying to sell me some service for $800 dollars which included oil and filter change which should be coming with my brand new engine they were putting in. With that they were recommended spark plugs when those were replaced at 100k and filters which i also had replaced already. Then they recommended flushes which I also had done previously. Seemed like they were trying to get money out of me due to the engine being covered under warranty. I opted to let them replace the wipers as I knew those were needed especially the rear one. After that I got a phone call friday 12/6/24 with AARON telling me he has good news my engine was in but unfortunately I have a SEVERE COOLANT LEAK. I have never had a coolant leak or any leak with that car the under of he vehicle has been clean there were no leaks whatsoever. He advised that they can not finish the engine job due to not being able to pressure test the system with how severe the coolant leak was. I asked how that can be possible when there were no leaks prior to bringing it to them. He said maybe the tow truck punctured something i said thats impossible as the tow company I knew personally and they used dollys to pic up the front tires and tow it to them they never went under the vehicle or hooked anything up. I said how do i know your technician didnt puncture something when he was doing the engine and removing other parts. He said they didnt do it. I find that incredibly hard to believe coming from someone who maintains there vehicles and had no leaks at all. He then passed me over to John the service manager and he immediately got on the phone annoyed. He told me he wouldnt be able to say whether it was the tow truck or not even after I told him I watched the tow truck get my car I even have a picture of it being put on dollys. He said well we didnt do it I said that is hard to believe. He said we can give you the car back but if the vehicle overheats no warranty etc. More
There was a frustrating lack of communication/updates on their end while my car was at the dealership, but ultimately they did their best to work through my situation in a way that was mostly satisfying. their end while my car was at the dealership, but ultimately they did their best to work through my situation in a way that was mostly satisfying. The man that waited on me said he didn't know anything about the silver but brought my car up to me with the silver key. He needs more training. Could have provided another key in case of loss of the other key. More

She lacked basic communication and interpersonal skills, frequently disregarded my concerns, and showed little to no effort in listening or explaining the service process for my Kia K5. Throughout the nearly two weeks my car was in for service, I was left uninformed and dispirited. Each time I attempted to reach out for updates, I was either ignored or hung up on. Not to mention, my car was damaged in the process of servicing it. The only saving grace in this situation was Travis(I believe that’s his name), the manager, who provided exceptional customer service and made an effort to resolve the issues I faced. However, Amy's unprofessionalism and lack of courtesy made the overall experience very stressful and unpleasant. I would strongly recommend considering other options if possible, given the poor customer service I encountered. More
